the thing ppl were trying to tell you is you cant force the cells to put out more then theyre capable of, thats all.
if you arent getting the power because theres not enough sunlight on it, ya, I've done the same. works great indoors, dont even need to encapsulate the cells :-)
although I've found if the cells are in a vacuum, why worry about heat ;-) hint hint..

more sun the cells would put out More it is a fact I test solar cells all the time , its my living what i do to sell Its about getting more from smaller panels and you can with a Mirror
your Not going to Burn out the cells . The cells go threw heat allmost 1200f to get the silver paint you solder to.So the cells can handle the heat and i have did this any way all and solar panels are not vacumed they are simply encapsulated with Eva or liquid solar cell encapsulant
