  • @strawberrybankai12 yeah your editor might ask you to start using a g pen and if your already using a kabura pen or dip pen it can be harder to transition (also info from bakuman)

  • Man I feel like a total fail man I cant even draw that good i am 16 and i cant draw guys and draw girls some what and people like my work but I will never be able to make a manga and that is my life dream....and i totaly freakin jealous of your pen i want one soooo bad....Good work I am intrested in your manga

  • I have a question. I'm kinda new to this inking thing, and I was wondering, wha is the difference between those pens you use and the Micron pens or something like that?

  • wow u people are pathetic, arguing with this guy over some some ink pens,it don't matter what pens the person your talking is using, damn, how rude,u guys coming on here mouthing off over some pens but didn't try and give the guy a compliment on is art, just wow,btw mngapro good work, this helped me out with starting my manga ^^

  • @animelovergirl28 thx i appreciate the comment and your welcome!! :D

  • @mngapro np,anytime ^^

  • I have the kabuto pen and Maru pen I want the g pen and I would buy it but since I'm in the Midwest they don't have many Japanese stores to purchase them at. I would buy it online but shipping is much more than I thought. I'm only a kid.

  • I'm going to die~~!! Does that annoying noise of the pen and paper coming in contact have to exist?! But nice vid. =)

  • @TrezCast yup, but i heard that the sound is just with the new nibs :3

  • @theoldversion Really? The sound is still there even after u did the burning thing (where u burn the nib 4 a few seconds)?

  • @TrezCast i think it is D: my friend has one of those pens, i'm still waiting mine to come

  • @theoldversion Oh man, too bad.. It seems I'll have a hard time when I get my pens *sigh* and thanks 4 the info. btw =)

  • @theoldversion thanks a bunch dude, I'll b w8ing 4 the videos ;)

  • where the heck do u get weekly shonen jump REPLY PLEASE :)

  • according to bakuman to do an battle manga like bleach or one piece your not supposed to use the kabura pen

  • @strawberrybankai12 lol that is how they make it seem, but what they are saying is that most mangaa use the G-pen no matter what kind of manga it is because it gives them all sorts of line variation, but they do use the other pens as well. the G-pen is mostly used when drawing things like the characters faces and things like that, the kabura pen since it gives you a steady one weight line is good for inking things like he hair or buildings, and the maru pen is good for small detail ;)

@mngapro Not sure if this is relevant but I live in Kentucky and have a Micheal's in town that does sell manga pens and supplies, if they have it in my backwater town I'm sure you could find it in other stores.

  • @anime6556 you can use a 0.5 nib pen from what I seen they give out the same effect that's why I need one cause like you I can't buy online though I have a bank account but that's for college and stuff and my parent's don't trust the internet cause there are scamming chinese people (I'm chinese so don't think I being offencesive people)
