Wow...you must have some early one cuz both my spock and kirk's stands clips can come off...watch Captain Comicbook's review he shows you how to take it off.

Holy crap! Thanks for the tip on the Captain Comicbook review. Now I see what you mean about the clip. I stand corrected... The clip does come off the back.

On the stand you can take out the clip part and it stands him up pretty well.

His skin looks REALLY yellow, almost like he's a "Simpsons" character! Is it really this yellow, or is the color off in the video?

It's more the lighting than the skin color. I should have color corrected the photos more.

You can take the clip off of the base,just pull on the clip. It can stand better
