  • Youd have to be a fucking idiot to not like or appreciate this series. If you havent seen it from start to finish. If you havent seen the series from start to finish but feel you need to pass judgement then your just an ignorant nobody with no value to your opinion.Period.If you have then you should know better OR shoot yourself in the face..OR switch to watching reality TV shows because thats all your life amounts too shit heads, lol.

  • About to start season 6b and wanted to watch this trailer as a start. I watch this show in its entirety every six months and every time it means something different to me.

The wire may hit all the check boxes of what makes the greatest show in the history of television but there is something ethereal and undefinable about this show that in my mind means it will go down as a masterpiece of the motion picture that can never be surmounted.

  • You work in the mafia????

  • I have watched the entire series three times now (I know, not very many) but I still get chills when I see this trailer...such an amazing show.

  • how can you hate this

  • The Sopranos, Deadwood, and Rome, best shows ever and all from HBO of course. Though the canceling of Deadwood will always taint my opinion of HBO.......

  • I GET IT!!!

  • does anyone know if there's a clip on youtube where all the docs sit at dinner, and Elliot leaks to everyone that Melfi is treating Tony? That's S6 P2

  • @Notebookwriter my bad.Should have checked my shit before I wrote that one.

  • Let me just rephrase what I said about the Wire, lol.Ill make my judgement on that one soon.

  • Creatively I dont know how people can say stuff like the wire and other HBO shows that have come out since can match the beuti and thought that has gone into this series.Just watch this from series 1 to 6 and youll know were it comes from.Things like the wire consist of murder..solve..next show..murder solve next show....Some might extend a few episodes..BORING!!

  • @Pulpedtoafiction31 : What do you mean? The Wire wasn't a procedural...

  • @sweeney2321 .....TV period.

  • I've given my life to this thing!!

  • Carmela said "everything comes to an end" :(

  • Shit .. i have just started watching this tv show and i fucking dont want it to end!!

  • things could have gone the other way my little nephew, sooo much better when Junior wasnt knucklehead smith

  • Im actually re watching the series again (Got the entire boxset) and it took me ages to get through series 1 which was amazing.Ive just started series 2 and its like eating 2 main courses im full already, lol.Amazing series.

  • Too Bad That Kevin Finnerty Shit Ruined The Series

  • @blewidescorpio I didn't like a lot of the dream sequences when the show was first aired, but now in reruns, they make more sense and actually tie in well to the overall story.

The Kevin Finnerty bit was Tony exploring parts of his consciousness that even he didn't normally visit. Not exactly pivotal, but an important bridge to coming back from a gunshot, sepsis, and recovery.

  • @moparmonster1965 I'm Actually Re Traveling Through The Episodes, Finishing Season 5 Which I Find To Be The Best, But I Am Sure It Will All Make Sense When Viewied Consecutive

  • @blewidescorpio Don't watch them on A&E, then, because they're not exactly in chronological order. In fact, they tend to repeat the same few episodes over and over.

I'd recommend getting the DVDs. Not cheap, but you get the stuff that's cut out and some extras, too.

  • @moparmonster1965 : A&E DOEs show the episodes in chronological order. Sundays have their own schedule, and the weekdays as well. However, hour long episodes are cut not just for content but for time as well, and the Whitecaps finale of season 4 was butchered to hell and back. So many scenes cut out cause it was a 75 minute finale.

  • @Notebookwriter1 Not according to my DVR they don't. A few days ago, they showed one episide where Blundetto had already been killed and the next one he was still alive. I wish I could remember the specific episodes, but I delete them as soon as I watch them because my wife doesn't want to see them again.

Yes, I agree that some of them are cut up for not only content but running tim as well. It's just not as good missing so much.

  • @moparmonster1965 : Maybe it was a Sunday episode, and then the next one was a Monday episode? Oh well. IT sucks how some people refuse to watch The sopranos in it's original form cause they don't like swearing or nudity. What they don't realize is that many key scenes are either cut or edited out not just for those reasons, but time as well. I'l never understand their reason cause the full experience on DVD/Blu ray with the HBO intro, full scenes, credits, then HBO outro is so much better.

  • @Notebookwriter1 Yeah, maybe. I don't think I've ever known anyone that didn't want to watch the originals, but there are times when it was pretty coarse. I also think this was the best era of HBO because you had The Sopranos on one season and then Oz opposite so you always had something to look forward to on TV. Now, not so much.

A&E is running a speacial on the entire series set for $199. Maybe I can scrape up the funds.

  • @moparmonster1965 : I currently have Season 2 and 3 of the series. I plan on getting 4 and 5 on DVD, and then seasons 1,6, and 6.2 on Blu-Ray. Recently finished up my first full uncensored watch through of Season 3 on DVD. I thought "The Army Of One" was a weak finale compared to season 2, but better than 1. It resolved some plots, while continuing, and setting up some others. Great ending sequence with Dominic Chianese(Uncle Junior) showing off his singing talent.

  • @moparmonster1965 : Might watch it again cause I didn't understand some of what they were saying. These earlier DVDs lack a subtitle option. Hopefully season 4 ends this trend. Currently going to watch Carnivale Season 2. Heard of that show? That was also part of the Oz, Sopranos, Rome, Six Feet Under, Deadwod, and Wire era of HBO. Damn, I was too young to watch those shows at the time, but as a current TV drama fan, that truly was the greatest era in HBO.

  • @Notebookwriter1 Agreed; some of the dialogue isn't terribly clear, and that's where I give my DVR a workout, rewinding and watching again.

Yeah, I heard of Carnivale, and I watched at least one episode, but it didn't catch my interest at all. My wife and I watched all of Six Feet Under, though, start to finish.

The only show I look forward to now is Rescue Me, which I, of course, discovered late in the show's run. With one episode left, it looks like all of the firefighters have died.

  • @moparmonster1965 : Carnivale must be watched from the start. At least the first 2 episodes. If you're not hooked by then, then I guess it's not for you, but you already made up your mind. So it's alright, but it is a fairly short series(cause of cancellation, but the cancellation had to do with the cost of the show.) and yes, I can't wait for Rescue Me's final episode tomorrow night, but there is no Rescue Me without Denis Leary. Don't know how they'll pull that off unless there's flashbacks.

  • @Notebookwriter1 There were too many happy endings looming so there couldn't be a final, sweet goodbye. And if you watched the previews, not one of the main character firefighters was in it. That may have been intentional, or it may be due to them all being dead, but we'll see.

  • @Notebookwriter1 It looks like we were both wrong about Rescue Me. I think the ending was terrific.

  • @moparmonster1965 : Same here. I just wish Sheila's husbands' ghost was also in the car along with Lou. He was the main ghost Tommy saw all the time since the beginning of the series. Great ending nonetheless. The bench scene had me laughing out loud.

  • @Notebookwriter1 Once it became clear that Lou was the only fatality, I figured Tommy would eng up talking to him, too. Lots of laughs in the last two episodes, too.

I'm glad it went out on a high note.

DId you ever get into Third Watch? That was another one of my favorite shows.

  • @Notebookwriter1 : Or, if there's scenes of the entire team in the afterlife or whatever. And you know that'll piss off the Athiests. No offense if you are one yourself, but I don't see the problem with showing the afterlife. It IS a work a fiction afterall, and if the afterlife exists in that fictional world, then so be it.

  • @blewidescorpio : Like moparmonster said, the Kevin Finnerty stuff might have not been liked by people expecting the main story to move on fast when it first aired...which is why someone like me who marathoned the series apreciates it, cause I got to watch the new episodes next, and not wait week by week. I can safely say that the short 2 episode Mr. Finnerty arc is one of my favorite arcs on the show.

  • @Notebookwriter1 Fair Enough. But I, Like Million's Of Other's Had To wait So It Was Extremely Disappointing. What Did It Have To Do With Anything Anyways??

  • Whomever said the state of New Jersey was one of the characters in the show was quite right.

  • Probably the best Trailer I have EVER seen.Well presented and well thought out.

  • i just see a video and apparently its Tony Soprano singing with Eminem!,,,, on Youtube type in... Bell Martini how u doing ..... and click on Bronx sign........ he's good!!

  • Everything. Everywhere. Everyone. Ends.

  • which episode of season 6 can i find this part?

  • How, exactly, would there be a movie. Tony dies at the end of the finale, it's pretty apparent (all things considered).

  • I am a made guy!!!

  • HBO pisses me off. They don't conclude Deadwood, nor do a Sopranos movie but they make two shitty Sex And The City movies? Party foul.

  • @GarbageDay06 I hear ya ...but how can they make a Sopranos movie when Tony bought it in the final episode? Wouldnt be much of a movie eh?

  • @GarbageDay06 : It was David Chase's call to make a Sopranos movie. Not HBOs. David Chase would have crapped on the series finale had he made a finale movie. The best we can hope for is a prequel.

  • Great tesaer trailer. The Sopranos is the greatest show ever made by far. Great writing and script with awesome storylines. What really made the show is its awesome cast James Gandolfini, Edie Falco, Tony Sirico, Steven Van Zandt etc. the list goes on. I miss this show. The way it ended was frusturating but friken great :D

  • "I'd follow that man into Hell."

  • When do the chills go away?

  • "Everything Comes To an End"

That's was from the fourth season but fits perfectly for the season finale! It gives me the chills!

  • Comment removed

  • 'I'M A MADE GUY'!!!

  • @100STEREO Ralph Cifaretto was one of my favorite characters 'cause he was a great bad guy. Joe Pantoliano played him so well. Such a great line "IM A MADE GUY!!!"

  • "I´m the BOSS for Chris sake!"

  • Tony was under a helluva lot of stress, the least being having his $ shangheid outa his friggin tool shed. He was a stand up motherfucker.

  • Not one of the best television shows - THE best television show in all of history- THE SOPRANOS.

  • This is the greatest trailor, to the greatest show! I have to admit, I found the third and fourth season lacking, but in the end, it all made sense.

  • at :43, there is a sound of flatline while tony is in a 3 o'clock position.

  • Tony wasn't shot. There was no reason to expect a hit on him. Phil was dead and they made peace with New York. David Chase shot a scene in the beginning of the final episode showing tensions between Phil and his number 2. Again, there was no reason to expect a hit a Tony. And as far as the show goes, he was still alive when the show ended. Of course we were supposed to think that guy was going to shoot him.. it's called building suspense.

  • Tony stnading there looking out and hearing all the voices of both families.....

this is like michael corleone at the end of GF2.

    Sitting there.....pondering...what if??

A good man doing bad things for a good cause.

  • THE best television show of all time.

  • "Everything comes to an end". Unfortunately it did not turn out the way all of us thought it would be. Thanks for slapping us in the face David Chase with that letdown of a finale.

  • @PJSkins26 It did come to an end. Tony is dead.

  • "everything comes to an end"

    right....

  • "everything comes to an end"

    SAD BUT TRUE :-(

  • Miss The Sopranos ? Join The Bring Back The Sopranos group on Facebook ..Just search Bring Back The Sopranos ..Maybe if we get as many people to join that has viewed this video HBO will listen.. Thanks & Don't Stop Believing..

  • @Horrormaniacs1 : Really, it's stupid to try and expect a new season to be made. The Sopranos was ending, and that's it. It ended. However, it does live on within DVD. All you need to do is re-watch the series from beginning to end, and ain't no reason not to do it again and again.

  • "you and tony egg again..."

  • couldn't have ended any other way.

  • I love Christopher yelling "How could you do this to us!!!", Michael Imperioli finally won an Emmy for that episode, "Long Term Parking''.

  • thank all the people who made this show. makes me proud i lived to see it

  • "You better TAWK to a psyCHIAAAAAtrist!"

  • @levertperry Also, since you are obviously a very big fan, I was curious if you would comment on the symbolism of "eggs" throught the series, mainly before someone gets murdered. I'd love to talk Sopranos with you. Thanks!

  • @levertperry You're the fucking MAN bro! It was driving me crazy...I couldn't figure out when/where it was said, but you are completley right. I could pin point every other sound bite but this one. Without the video, you can really feel the passion and fury of the clip. Again, thank you very much.

  • BEST SHOW OF ALL TIME

  • :38 That's Tony saying "I'll put a bullet in his fukin head"

Right? I can't think of the scene it is from though......

  • well tony didnt die in the end... yes...why ? simply because there was planed seoson 10.

you dont belive me ? well you do belive james gandolfini and he said this in the actors studio interview. you can find it here on youtube. this interview was taken when season 9 running. so the plans where different in d. chase mind... sadly 10 ep will never come up now.

to bad...but with james G. statement in mind i can watch the final with a smile :)

    go on T.

  • that's the message - everything comes to an end

  • just like Six Feet Under! :S

  • This is an amazing teaser, I remember watching this for the first time, thinking back on all the past seasons. Just appreciate how well this TEASER is made, the clouds and Jersey colors are gorgeous in the picture. And the analytical part of this is great as well. As Tony looks beyond into the ocean he has dumped numerous people and friends in, and all the stressful memories he recollects upon. And Carmella's last sentence... "Everything Comes To End."

  • @CorruptBox and u left a perfect comment my friend.

  • @CorruptBox Awesome comment

  • Awesome.

  • this is a stressful thing...makes you think of your own problems.

  • this video is so bitter sweet. The area surrounding Tony reminds me of Staten Island which is a notorious massive Mafia graveyard. I think its like that death is surrounding him

  • That is precisely it. David Chase even commented on it, that this teaser set up the entire season as focusing on death surrounding Tony.

Set up the first episode of the final 9 where he and Bobby are in the boat talking about when it happens you probably never see it coming.

  • this video still gives me chills

  • my professor linked me to this, why? i dont know

  • I bet your professor is really cool. Probably looks like Val Kilmer.

  • and i bet ur in my class

  • And I bet you're right.

  • agreed.

it doesn't take a black heart to run organized crime,it takes nerves of steel and a mind capable of surviving the stress that come's with the job..

  • gave me chills... What an epic!

  • same, sopranos and the wire are the best series ever

  • I heard on the grapevine that they were making a sopranos movie!!! Any truth in this?? Would be fucking class if they did

  • they can't because tony is dead fo sho!

  • @ohen33 hes alive just like elvis and tupac man...you cant kill a legend you can only make them bigger..

  • well yes the movie industry either describes these people in 1 of 2 ways.

either they make them look like COMPLETE assholes by way way way overdoing them like in these cheap action flicks that only have the purpose of praising the main character usually played by Nicholas cage.

or the kind of movies like The Godfather where the characters aren't just icky icky mobsters but real people who have a wife and kids to feed.

in my opinion the sopranos has made the mob look the most realistic.

  • This should have included Ade saying "I used to be afraid of you" to Tony. Perfect, otherwise!

  • In my opinion most people that get involved in this lifestyle were born into it. Those that were not born into it are looking for something. It might be fast money. It might be fast women. It might be power. My reason would have been power. The idea that now one would fuck with me. That no matter how brutal I would have to be to prove it I would prove it. I would push the limits to prove that no one screws with me.

  • When I think about organized crime I wonder if anyone involved in that lifestyle is very smart? The outcome is always the same. Either you eventually get wacked or you end up in jail for a long time. The Mafia is supposed to be a "family" but you cannot truly trust anyone.I have watched the movies.Read the books. Known people that were involved in organized crime.Had the opportunity to join a biker gang. Was totally fascinated by organized crime. Short sighted people if you as me.

  • Tony was smart, he was a business man, and capable of making decisions at the click of a finger, he would of been suited to runing legitamate business's if he didnt get born into the mafia, not many people are capable of the pressure that he goes through, responsible for every deicison made good or bad

  • I agree!

I couldn't handle a job like that.I would crack under the pressure for sure. You would have to be very smart. The type of person that is always thinking 5 steps ahead of the other people. You would have to be a natural born leader. You would have to pay close attention to your instincts. You would have to have people close to you that you could trust. You couldn't let things get to you.

  • A lot of these guys that are involved in criminal organizations would make good legitimate business people. They understand business. They are hustlers. They are risk takers. People look at them badly because they will kill people. The governments of the world kill people when they send their soldiers to war. Like right now killing people over oil and opium trade. The criminals sell people what they want to buy.

  • People give me a hard time about posting to much so I will make this my last one for this video.I do not condone criminal organizations. Many times in my life I romanced the idea of the Mafia and Hells Angels in my mind. However when I was growing up my dad always told my brother and I to never get into trouble with the law. This type of lifestyle leads to prison or being wacked. Damn few people retire from this lifestyle.

  • Good for you. Now pour a nice tall glass of shut the fuck up.

  • ROFL!

Good one! I have a sense of humor.

  • In some ways Hollywood has glorified mobsters. Although the Soprano show isn't 100% true to what Mafia is at least it shows that there is very real possibility of being wacked or going to jail for a long time.

  • Sad this show is not on anymore. Many times in my life I have thought about joining organized crime. The reasons I never did was because my dad instilled fear in me when it came to getting into trouble with the law. Also the fact of knowing that I could get wacked.I have read books on the mafia and Hells Angels. I have watched many movies and have spoken with ex bikers. I have met some shady people in my life.

  • It's all about Livia in the end :)

  • well guess what..

mobsters didn't want their kids to turn out like they did...

  • nothing comes close to how fucking great this program was

    shame its not on anymore

  • Awesome, thanks fellas!

  • 0:48 where someone says "Im a made guy". Does anyone know which episode this was from?

  • Its Ralphie, its the scene when Tony kills him, can't remember the episode name

  • I dont think is where T killed Ralphie. I think it was when T punched Ralphie for killn that pregnant stripper chick outside of the bing.

  • Yeah that's right just watched that episode

  • sounds like chris from season 3, but ive only heard richie april using that line from season 2 (i think around eipisode 3-5) dont remember chris using the line, also could have been mikey from season 1 but seems unlikely its most likely richie cant think of any other people bieng adressed as "made" even though there are alot of them

  • hey jamaljordan

    season 3

    "university"

remember when ralphie beat tracee to death and tony started to beat him up ralph said "I'M A MADE GUY!!!!"

when your a made guy, its hard to get touched so basically they've got it made lol :)

but than again captain or no captain if tony soprano's angry we all know whats gonna hapend!

  • Mate your a champion! it was one of those lines that was stuck in my head.. didnt know which episode it was from. There's one of those awesome lines in everysingle episode!

    Thanks again

  • @a6amBadaBingmournin Ralphie was a gun, he added a lot to the Sopranos. Especially the hospital scene when he cracks it at the kid. I miss this show. Time to start watching it again.

  • i got all the seasons bitches great fucking show

  • OMG!! I could never walk into Best Buy and buy the whole series for myself. Goddamn are you lucky for having your own edition of The Sopranos!!!!! I want to be you!

  • i didn't walk into best buy retard i bought it off ebay for about 20 bucks for each season.oh and your too much of a dick to be like me

  • All in all you thought of yourself as the only person on this planet, who could own The Sopranos on DVD, Fuckface

  • no dick that's how you felt after you read my comment. that's not how i felt when i wrote the comment. im sorry if offended you.ok dick?

  • lol u paid for it XDXDXD

  • :L :L

Thats exactly what I was thinking!

  • They should have used coach Mulinaro saying "you'll never shut me up!" and Carmella saying "youre going to hell when you die!"

  • Type in Vic Martino from The Sopranos - stand up debut at the search and enjoy. IMDB: Vic Martino.

  • The sopranos= #1 best show

  • that teaser is so beautifully shot, great show, great cast, history made.

  • any idea how much mate.

  • anyone know if you can buy every season in one box set.

  • Of course, but its going to cost you a shit-load of money. Amazon has it for like $300.

  • ah fuck that ill just buy series 1 2 and 3 and then wait, i enjoyed Brotherhood so is this anything like it.

  • yep, 350 dollars at best buy

  • yeah its on amazon for like $80

  • mother fokking great

  • best show ever!

so much better than the wire.

it had something the wire didn't have.... satirical humour

  • I hear similar voices in my head!!!

  • Best series ever

  • awesome, 5 stars.

  • I miss the sopranos so much!!!!

    Tony is still alive!!!

  • Best ever made?e

  • soprano rules!!!

  • 00:38 we hear Chris say something " ...(?) that man into (?)..." then , who is saying "I would have put a bullet in his fuckin head"

  • chris talking about tony saying he "would follow that man into hell", and then a.j. referring to uncle junior after he shoots tony !

  • i would follow that man into hell.

  • Chris Moltisanti was the MAN

  • whats ur problem u shithole, nah it didnt make me cry when chris moltisanti died, i was acctually hoping for that he sould stick it to the end but he didnt right. belive me you wouldnt call me a pussy in rl you little internet gangster.

  • He was a loser.

  • Best show ever

  • has anyone seen that trailer for season 6 where christopher and tony are sitting on the wall drinking and talking about all the bad things theyve done? and then it goes on to show Janice saying "BOOM!" and Carmella laughing hysterically? I recently saw it and now I cant find it anywhere..

  • why dont u shut the fuck up u blabbering idiot

  • "Everything comes to an end" I sure hated this series to end.... Maybe a movie will be done, surely they can't leave us hanging on..

  • Did you like the ending? They cant do anything else unless its a prequal! I mean so many characters got killed :(

  • I about died when I saw the ending...I was not expecting that so I guess that alone made it brilliant but dammit I shouldn't have ended that way! I was shocked on some of the character deaths like Bobby's, the others I think were expected sooner or later.

  • I know Patsy, Paulie, and Tony are alive. Everyone else is dead or in a coma. Or did I forget someone?

  • u forgot your mom, she's one of the whooores that works at the bing....

  • What the hell you talking about, you dumb fuck? You want to talk about moms. How about your cocksucker of a mother? How many knobs did she have to polish to get your breakfast, huh?

  • Tony is dead

  • Don't know. But I like to think he's alive.
