@pvisserandorra I was refuting the usual branding of Chomsky as a ¨Marxist.¨ He has never cared much for Marx and instead usually places himself in a tradition going from the enlightenment all the way to anarchism. Anyhow the use of the words communist/socialist/marxist has lost all meaning in US discourse... They've become swear words to label somebody and stop listening to whatever they say - a good example of propaganda techniques to set the margins of acceptable thought.
