@Xenoxander I do, Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts are video games, they are as much anime as Frogger and Mario Kart are. Not only that but Kingdom Hearts is from Disney, if that is anime then my favorite anime character is donald duck.

And in case you are going to use the excuse that Final Fantasy and somewhat Kingdom Heart is a 3D Japanese animation and somewhat anime, well that still isn't anime because anime is Japanese 2D animation.

Animation is animation, no matter if its 2D or 3D. I didnt say donald duck was anime either. Kingdom hearts is a coop between disney and Square sooooo they did use both art forms. Bet you didnt know that anime was based off original disney flicks did you? The only way this arguement would make sense is if people were calling it manga which is a graphic novel of sorts. Just cause these are video games doesnt prove anything either cause they DID have to draw out the characters didnt they?

I also wanted to add that some of the newer anime. eg Ghost in the Shell use computers to do the animation.

Futurama isnt anime but computers are used to make some scenes appear 3D so are you saying its not a cartoon? Look up the definition of anime on Wikipedia. Its says that both 3D and 2D anime exist. This wont change your mind Im confident in that. Your just looking for a reason to fight with someone.

Otherwise i could just go and play a game like Mirrors edge and say i watched an anime, because the character is asian and its 3D. Hah I see your point on the amv thing. Theres been a few times when Ive looked for amv's and gotten a WoW vid or some other mmorpg. Thats annoying as hell.

Lets see Star Ocean. Final fantasy, DBZ, Naruto, Street fighter all have an anime series and a video game. Xenogears and Lunar SSS had 2D cut scenes.
