I hate this video so much! The song is interesting because it (like Me & Julio) juxtaposes lyrics about a serious subject (war in Uganda) with a happy folk tune. The video is just "let's do some neat animation tricks! I love being on camera!" Makes the whole thing seem really trivial :(

I absolutely LOVE Jeremy Fisher! I first saw him last year open for Xavier Rudd and I can't get enough of him now. He showed up at the Calgary Folk Fest but because of Air Canada and a flat tire he didn't get to play as long as he should have. I will see him whenever and wherever I can. He's amazing!!!

Right...almost every musician has been influenced by musicians that have come before.  Yes, this song sounds a lot like something Paul Simon would write, but it certainly isn't a rip off. Let's face it, there are only so many notes available to write with. Melodies and chord progressions will invariably repeat themselves over the years. Personally, I think he has done more than enough to be unique while still drawing upon artists that have influenced him.
