  • Wonderful old film. I don't know how, but I'm grateful it survived all this time intact. It kept my interest and I thought the acting quite good by comparison to other films of this time, and of course there is Murnau's flawless lighting. He's an artist who understood realism.

  • Thank you very much for posting this lost little gem! The scene where the newleyweds romp thru the wheat was innocence itself, and Mary Duncan is the spitting image of my ex-wife. Some nice shots in there as well. Thanks again!
