  • Yes, they hired him as narrator. He probably wouldn't as be affordable now after he starred in LotR, but you never know. Anyway, Sierra had a nice bankroll back then, so you see some surprising names at times (like Tim Curry and Mark Hamil in Gabriel Knight 1).

    Then again, paying big-name voice actors may have also been one of the factors in Sierra going bankrupt later.
