  • "I wish I never met you." "I have that effect on people." LOL hilarious. Sums up Indy perfectly.

  • Did somebody just call Indiana Jones a LIBERAL!?

  • @AmericanBadass44

Hey fatso its not about being Liberal, Conservative, Moderate or whatever, its about human beings and you can't judge them by how they look or stereotype them.

  • great, thanks for uploading! Missed these parts from the new DVD cut.

  • Wasn't that doctor also in "Mystery of the Blues?"

  • @MDew1 Nice to see you here, MDew! :-) In answer to your question: Yes.

  • It would have been cool if shortround was taking indy to the hospital, and when the doc calls for mr. jones, shortround points his finger at the doc and says, 'you call him doctor jones!'

  • Wow! This is an important part of the Albert Schweitzer's Reverence for Life episode. Too bad it was left out of the DVD version.

  • the fat guy in the beginning was giving a bad picture of a republican...

  • I love that you put these on here. This, apart from a few acceptions like pancho villa or "Ned", is the best part of the young Indy Series. I think it is insulting that George Hall was taken out. You should make DVD's of the old Indy scenes.

  • I can't believe this is out here. Thanks to whoever loaded it. I'm in the clip in the back of the room at the end of the first set of scenes.

  • You are very welcome! Which person in the backroom are you? I would LOVE to read your recollections of the filming. Please send me a private message or I can send you my e-mail.

  • I'm the black guy in the back in that scene behind old Indy after they took the guy to the back to give blood. I have on the black shirt and the high top haircut (LOL). That was my first and only experience unfortunately, but I did get to meet George Lucas. It was a 10 hour day. Each scene was rehearsed a couple of times and then shot a couple of times. It's amazing to see when ended up on the cutting room floor and what angles they chose to use. Like the lady in the wheel chair.

  • Thanks for the reply, bigernb! I would gladly make you a copy on DVD, if you want. A few more questions, if you don't mind:

Was this filmed in Wilmington, N.Carolina?

What was the name of the hosptial?

Did you get to talk to George Hall (Old Indy)?

The epsiode in April '92. Do you recall when it was filmed?

  • @bigernb Nice to be a part of the Indy Lore. :)

  • @StooTV Hey just a question, are there also great effects in the series, and action?/?

  • This was one of my favorite episodes too, though I just realize that originally that they were split up apart as the DVD version has it in its entirety, though without old Indy.

I like old Indy, I think the fact people either fall asleep or not pay enough attention to his stories represents how history can repeat itself since it's not taken into consideration in modern day activity.

  • Yep, it was in Wilmington, NC at New Hanover Memorial Hospital. I didn't get to talk to old Indy, but I did get to meet George Lucas. We shot toward the end of 91.

  • Poor old Indy, nobody will listen to him. Heck, I would write a biography about him if he was real. Seeing Indy like this really hurts the big fans.

  • This is the best chapter of Young Indy series: Oganga, giver and taker of life. Albert Schweitzer and Indy are great heroes! I love them!

  • funny how the fat guy in the beginning has no idea who he's sitting next to.

  • Fantastic! Thank you so much for these great uploads.

I look forward to the next ones.

  • Indeed! I love Indy's face at the end when he sees the happy family reunion and smiles. A great show, with a great message.

  • There's nothing quite like this show. :)
