This is the most overall powerful Summon. Ark is flashy, but rarely hits for 9999 where as Madeen does it fairly commonly with Eiko around level 55. Atomos doesn't count because that can do max damage or very little based on the Max HP of the enemy. Endgame bosses will always take 9999 with Atomos.

@yamibalus Ark can be made more powerful by removing Lapis Lazuli from your inventory. The more you have, the less powerful Ark is.

Terra Homing is cool, but Holy PWNS it in so many ways. Does more damage, costs less MP, and can be coupled with Double White for mega damage.

I can't tell you how many times Double White and Holy saves my ass when I fight Necron.

This summon is called "Madeen", he's related to FF6's "Maduin" and to Eiko and Garnet's homeland, "Madain Sari".

In FFVI Maduin was Terra's father, in FFIX Manduin (translated as Mandeen) using a attack called Terra Homing. Of course Mog appears in FFVI as well.

Madeen, the amazonian Moogle. It almost made up for the fact that you couldn't use Alexander. The one game when alexander couldn't possibly suck (Legendary Eidolon, hello?), they wouldn't add him as a summon.

He isn't here just coz' you can't use Alexander...this is the same Eidolon/Esper that apparead in FF VI! There he was called Maduin, and was also an important Esper, as it was actually conneted to one of the caracthers of that game! So it wasn't his firts apparition in a FF game ^^'
