@djlowtek yea pretty much. after the first big drop and through that 1 loop its smooth sailing. appolos chariot beats this ride anyday in my opinion. griffon is just to short to wait almost an hour to ride. well thats how long i waited =/

just saw some stats on sheikra and griffon. Both almost the same...griffon has a higher drop, but by 5 feet...and i think it has a longer track. People would probably prefer the first one they rode on, for me that's Griffon. I rode all the great roller coastersw in Busch Gardens Europe...Griffon, Alpengeist, Apollo's Chariot, and Loch Ness...fanatics won't be disappointed XD

The view you get from this ride is amazing. This is by far better then sheikra. It's bigger, faster, holds more people, hangs you on the hill longer, was designed to be a floorless coaster, you get more airtime, two loops that are amazing in the front seat, just an overall better ride. B&M obviously perfected their design with griffon after they did sheikra.

Very smooth, very fun. I've ridden it many times. No doubt the best seats are front and center. It's too short but definitely a must-ride. Griffon and SheiKra are the same design but SheiKra was not originally floorless. It was later modified to be floorless like Griffon.

I recently got to go back on SheiKra. I feel that the first drop is definitely more intense on Griffon, but otherwise, I agree with you. SheiKra has the better set up, and the ride itself is a bit more polished.

You need to get on Alpengeist. Its the turqiouse and White coaster beside the griffon. It's very smooth and thrilling. Its the worlds tallest INVERTED rollercoaster. And i've been on it over a dozen times the past 4 days! If you can handel Apollos chariet.. You can DEFFINALTLY handel Alpengesit! GO FOR IT!:)

Well, Dorney Park has coasters that are similar to Busch Gardens'. Alpengeist and Talon, ... So, the coasters are about even, but I give the edge to Busch Gardens. Busch Gardens has also been voted the most beautiful park on the planet for multiple years now, so, if you want to see beautiful landscaping and ride thrilling coasters, Busch Gardens is the way to go. However, Dorney Park is really nice too. It even has it's own waterpark inside the park. It's your choice though. (:

AllNatural1625, Drachenfire is gone..period. Its been gone for a decade. Not only was it in an entirely different part of the park, but Griffon is a BRAND NEW ride....its not Drachenfire "redid". End it there.
