The first concert I ever went to was dark side of the moon I think it was 1973 in Saratoga NY. I was 14 and my older broth had taken me. It was quite remarkable as I stood there against the railing when they broke into Breath. It was like a big wind of heaven had pushed you back as Gilmour played that slow slide string. I'm now 54 and watched pulse for the very first time and it took me back the being that 14yr old kid. So at the age of 54 I decided to learn how to play the guitar. Thx David G.

I love the convenient glossing over of how Glam contributed some of the darkest, most challenging ideas ever presented in rock. "Aladdin Sane", "Strictly Confidential" - off the top of my head, those are two of the most terrifying songs I've ever heard.

It's funny Rodger calls Syd crazy even though right at the beginning of the album "They had to explain why you are mad even if you are not mad" A wonderful album full of ideas, and contradictions.
