@mckaveney It wasn't really hot at all, it was fall and we where at almost 4,000 feet altitude. i'm pretty sure it wasn't the heat from the pavement, maybe the friction got it hot.
do you have any recomendations of what freebord complete to get? everyone who's boughten the slasher wheels says they love them from the reviews on the website. But people on youtube are telling me just to get the all around package with the smaller wheels which I hear flatspot easier. I probably won't go any faster than 20 mph. And also the all around package might help because i could use my 70 mm longboard wheels for the edges.
the big wheels are supposed to be combined with big edgewheels making the rocker not too big. they dont melt only the small centers melt. and only because its made in china doesnt mean its cheap. 90% of what you own is probably made in china.
nman bro, that hill looked amazing

@mhpcom1322 i meant that the hot pavement and friction are what caused it to melt

1 more reason I dont own a Freebord. That and I don't like my skateboard to look like I put shopping cart wheels on it.

Might not be the wheel's fault - could have gotten a pebble could have jammed where the melt is.

@tuliped you can see the part holding the wheel by the bearing is all melted

ur supposed to pair small centers with lowriders 65mm or less
scaredbasejumper 2 years ago
like i said before, it was a factory set up, i got it as a gift last year, i only rode it a few times.
If the wheels don't go together, they shouldn't set them up that way

scaredbasejumper 2 years ago

scaredbasejumper 2 years ago

mhpcom1322 2 years ago
sry about the double post umm so those were stock centers and it looks like you have after market edge wheels from a longboard
scaredbasejumper 2 years ago
it also depends what rocker setting you had on your trucks
scaredbasejumper 2 years ago

mhpcom1322 2 years ago
