Oh yeah almost forgot...If it weren't for Baby face I mean Larry Mullins there wouldn't even be a U2. Think about it the 4 boys where in the same School. Larry put up an ad on the school Bulletin Board looking for other guys to start a band with. They practiced in his mothers kitchen. I think Adam said he was around 14, barely knew how to play a guitar. But he knew he didn't want to sit in his room for 3 yrs teaching himself how to play 'Stairway to heaven'.

chris martin, upon the birth of his 2nd child, played him the entire joshua tree track. he said it was the first sounds of music he wanted his son to hear, and that is a HUGE compliment. beyond that, he has admitted that he has the ENTIRE u2 track memorized. being such a fan makes me hesitate to compare the two bands and bash coldplay. it seems like evn coldplay dont deny that u2 has hada HUGE influence on their work. u2 is soulfully inspiring, and any1 that appreciates that, shod b appreciated
