The Jacksons were the FIRST black family to have a TV show. The FIRST to have a cartoon made after them. This is the era Magic grew up in, so why strip Magic of that and who the fuck is Jay Mohr to say what Magic did for blacks as a whole?
Damn near every black kid who grew up around that time idolized the jacksons, but Magic isn't entitled to feeling the way he does?
@saj8 fuck that pedophile. Jackie Robinson was never embraced, neither was Muhammed Ali (at first), nor was Hank Aaron. Pele, most certainly was. I will applaud and admire any of the above over some moonwalking child toucher. Now beat it
What I get about that is that Jay Mohr's dumb ass doesn't see that jackie wasn't welcomed into the homes of people. He didn't have his poster hung up on walls or be the first of his kind to capture the public's imagination.
Jackie wasn't embraced by the public at large. If anything, he was considered a rabble rouser who talked to much. Jay Mohr's dumb ass is hiding behind behind jackie and doesn't see the difference in how Jackie was embraced compared to Michael.
Michael Jackson was the first african american to be globally chased by fans everywhere he went and had massive record sales. No other african american reached those heights especially in the early 1980's. Not even Ali. Michael was a global superstar. When Michael Jordan came out he was a global supserstar in sports but Michael Jackson did it first and it was not a foreign idea by that time. Someone had to be the first and that WAS Michael Jackson.
I was laughing so hard when I heard this on Rome. He is my favorite to listen to. Does somebody have the David Caurso takes from this show please post them.
yes, please post all jay mohr's takes from that day he hosted. i totally missed the show and didn't know he was hosting the following wednesday from the previous week he guest hosted.

@cromwell2007 Name-calling is the last refuge of a person who can't make a good conclusive argument.
Read a book. You might learn something.

I would be surprised if Magic can even write his name.
