There's a big difference between being humourously teased, and disrespected.

This is obviously the former, and being that you cannot tell the difference between the two; all I feel is pity for you, that you let something as innocent as a commercial for whiskey offend your cultural pride. It's slightly pathetic.

Scotsmen are renowned for their humour too; I might add - which leads me further to doubt that you're related in any way, shape or form, to the awesome highland people.
