Basically what happens is the keyboard button pulls up the right click menu, and valve's shitty source engine has a bug where the game stalls in windowed mode if you do a click action outside of the window, which as I said the button emulates. The stalling causes the freeze.

@Amlug09 Uh, no? This isn't snd_restart. This is a keyboard button that does the dropbox command (the same as right clicking). It hasn't been bound to ANYTHING and actually isn't possible to be bound to anything. Get your facts straight, or at least read the previous comments before your input yours.

That button is essentially the "right click" button. It replaces that of the right click. Little common fact, that you don't need a mouse to use your computer for normal things.  This would probably also work if you actually right clicked.

I've seen the thread and it's useless. All of those commands you have mentioned have been blacklisted on most servers and result in a ban. This method can never be detected and again requires no plugins or scripts at all.

Don't come onto my videos spreading false information about this crashing people's CS:S; that's VERY unlikely.

And it is actually possible to bypass sv_cheats 0 and use thirdperson, but we won't get into that.

click at the bottom of the bar near the actual game screen, and then drag it up, it should work.

They don't have to be completely out of view. Also make sure you can see the background a little bit.

Go into a game and press the button, if it doesn't work, wiggle the window around and try again, if it doesn't work then, keep moving it around to find a spot that it does work.
