Hugh Laurie is a VERY VERY talented man and it is wrong for you to just connect him with House, although he plays the role spectacularly well, he also does a lot of other things, spectacularly well. Personally it's my Hugh Laurie's favorite character, I dare to say more than House, 'cause it fits him so well! Sophisticated, proud and a bit arrogant.
