  • Great committed Man of God---Teaching,Proving and revealing the deep things of God thru the word. No doubt enormous reward is awaiting you in heaven sir.Millions has been rescued from confusion and from spiritual obscurity and are now in the truth cos of the Grace of God upon Mr.Wessels. God bless you abundantly sir!

  • it's interesting (jealous God) because God is acknowledging the existince of others gods.

there's another verse where God says, 'I am the God of gods'

    hm

  • 94/69 thumbs ups to downs! All he did was read the bible? I bet the 69 was all self proclaimed christians. And they ask why are the churches empty?

Replace G_d with buddha and keep the name of G_d. Replace Jesus with the persona of the dalai lama, and only pray to him? Why can't Christians just pray to the G_d of the bible?

  • I remember when I first really read the "Jealous God" verse.

Since then I realised almost everybody I know is going to hell, especially some of the deluded Christians who live in sin but are aware of religious doctrine. They're far worse than the ignorant in God's eyes in my opinion,. Nice Video

  • If you don't accept Christ through action, you do not accept him at all. There's work to be done still, and if you think you can just let Jesus come into your heart and be saved with no effort, you're in for a rude awakening. You embrace or fail to embrace Christ in your actions.

  • I'm an atheist, but I nevertheless agree that there are *many* things in the Bible that people--people who claim that the Bible is their guide!--just do not want to hear, like following its 600+ commandments.

And you're also right, these things are more frequently known to atheists than to most of the Bible-believers that we meet.

[However, these "unpopular" items are not the reason that I personally stopped believing.]

In any case, thanks for making a *consistent* point in this video.

  • Greetings from Romania! I am your newest facebook friend-brother Daniel.God bless your ministry.I'd like you that some day to invite to Romania!

  • That bible he's holding looks like it's from the first edition

  • @wyattqt I know it's called the Koran, which is the Muslim equivalent of their Holy Bible, stop being so politically correct retard and actually contribute to the points made or sit down and shut up.

  • @LosAngelesFresh1 Almost forgot your other point on how this guy is a Muslim because of his region. Well actually the Muslim Holy Bible clearly teaches that Jesus Christ was a great prophet and to be respected...Kinda makes you think the Muslims who wrote the damn thing were on to something huh? Now go back to watching your Amazing Atheists videos and let the actual believers have a discussion!

  • @okthink2live Mohammed was a pedophile, Jesus was the only being sent from heaven to teach men how to live and was slain for his teachings. Christians don't chop off the heads of disbelievers, Christians don't burn disbelievers at the stake (Catholics are not Christians). Christians don't strap bombs to themselves and blow up civilians. That is proof enougfh that Jesus is the truth the way and the life. Mohammed is NOT.

  • @mookixox And because Christians don't blow themselves up or fly planes into buildings is proof enough that he exists? Wow... So if someone doesn't do any harm to me they must be an omnipotent being as well? Mormon's are actually way more moral than Christians, so with your logic Mormonism is more "truthful" than Christianity. I can't understand how one can believe in something with NO evidence. Can there be a creator? Of coarse there can but one can NOT presume to know

  • @LosAngelesFresh1 First of all I'm talking to a Muslim (a believer) and explaining why Jesus is the truth and Mohammed is a lie. Secondly most Mormon communtities are filthy polygamists and plagued with pedophilia (when you take many wives, you leave less adult women for the next guy) Also the Mormon Church was founded by Freemasons, if those aren't reasons enough to avoid the Mormon Church I don't know what is. But you sound like an Agnostic, you don't want the truth of Jesus.

  • @LosAngelesFresh1 There is plenty of evidence that God exists but sinners who love be their own gods refuse to believe it or accept it (read Romans chapter 1 on this in the Bible for starters). Sinners replace the living God as found in the Bible with myths they & their false prophets have created. Mormonism is just another classic example of a false man-made religion. See our 5 hour series "MORMONISM" (type "LARRY WESSELS MORMONISM" in the YOUTUBE search box & an array of videos will appear).

  • @okthink2live You apparently do not realize that our ministry has produced about 40 hours of videos just on the false religion of Islam. You can see them by typing "LARRY WESSELS ISLAM" in the YOUTUBE search box. I would suggest you start with our video entitled, "MOHAMMED'S 3 GODDESSES OF ALLAH: ISLAM'S "SATANIC VERSES" (QUR'AN 53:19-20)" & the Muslim practice of ABROGATING verses out of the Qur'an because Muhammed was inspired by Satan. See our 10 hour series, "ANSWERING ISLAM" after that.

  • Exdous Chapter 20:vers.17 The truth about giving. Thou shalt not covet any thing that is thy neighbour's. The 10th commandment.

  • Tithing is NOT for New Covenant believers.

    For proof, read:

"Mystery Revealed: Why Millions of Christian Tithers are Broke" on my blog.

  • i remember asking my dad who's a christian if he would make me marry a guy who raped me if he asked to marry me after. my dad gave me a look & was like "aaah no...why?". i told him it was in the bible, & he denied it. i tried to show him the passage, & he wouldn't look at it. hed rather be igorant about that sort of thing.

  • @TheBgoz Respectfully speaking, perhaps it is you that is ignorant of the biblical accounts. I would suggest a study of each account in scripture that is used to somehow affirm what you have stated and a whole host of other fallacious positions - Study each one in detail from Exodus 21, Numbers 31, Deuteronomy 20 - 21 and 22, Judges 5 and 21, 2 Samuel 12, and Zechariah 14. Read the accounts yourself. Then engage in a real study of the texts in question.

  • @Wunji1 i'm ignorant? i'm not the one ignorant of the fact that this passage is in the bible, & attempts to deny it even though it is clearly stated in the scripture that u claim to be following (Deuteronomy 22:22).

  • @TheBgoz Deuteronomy 22:22 says, "If a man be found lying with a woman married to a husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shalt thou put away evil from Israel." Cf. Leviticus 20:10. You might mean Deut 22:28-29: "If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found; 29 Then ... she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days."

  • @CAnswersTV ah, so u r aware of that quote. it doesn't just say that she will be his wife, it says that he will pay her father to marry her. pay her father for what? raping her? it's ok, as long as he spends the rest of his life with her & buys her off her father. never mind the fact that no woman would want to spend the rest of her life with a man who raped her & took her virginity...

  • @TheBgoz Deuteronomy 22:28-29 isn't talking about rape at all although some Bible versions read that way (the NIV for instance). Here, "and lay hold on her, and lie with her," she yielding to it, is not as expressive of a rape, as Deut 22:25 is where a different Hebrew word for this is there used; which signifies taking strong hold of her, and ravishing her by force. The punishment for rape is death (verse 25) but here (verses 28-29) the situation is different as well as the consequences.

  • @CAnswersTV it's different in different bibles? i think that alone is an example that the bible contains errors. trying to justify stuff like this always makes me feel even less trusting & respecting of christianity...

  • @TheBgoz There are many Bible translations with many different word usages. You can go to most any Christian bookstore & get what is called a "Parallel Bible" which contains multiple translations which allows the reader to cross check translations on any verse for better clarification. There can be translation errors but these are only a very small % & are known with nothing affecting essential Bible doctrine thus the Bible is trustworthy. See our 2 hour video series, "BIBLE TRANSLATION ISSUE."

  • @TheBgoz 1. I did not say your were ignorant. I said you are ignorant OF THE FACT. Completely different. 2. I listed all of the accounts in question. What does Deuteronomy 22:22 have to do with what you are talking about??? 3. I haven't denied anything. Most important, and to the point - 4. Please sight the passage about "marrying a guy who raped me" that you claim "is clearly stated in the scripture" so that we can get to the issue at hand...

    thanks

  • The bible is open to many interpretations to keep a favorable context

  • @therehastobeme The Bible is God’s Word but some of the interpretations derived from it aren't. Many cults use the Bible claiming their interpretations are correct. Too often cultic interpretations not only differ dramatically but are clearly contradictory. The problem lies in those who interpret & the methods they use (see our video "20 WAYS CULTS MISREAD THE BIBLE"). We need the guidance of the Holy Spirit (Rom 8) in interpreting God’s Word. False interpretation can mean doom (2 Peter 3:16).

  • so atheist believe in god but not the god of the bile ?

  • @fhab525 To answer your question in full detail about atheism please type "LARRY WESSELS ATHEISM" in the YOUTUBE search box & an array of videos will appear. Most of our atheism & evolution videos are well hated by the atheists & they rate the videos poorly without even watching them. Atheists have religious faith that God is not there & at the same time make themselves the judge or "god" of what is true or not while denying the Bible which has history & 2000 fulfilled prophecies going for it.

  • HE WANTS IT ALL

  • THIS IS IT!

  • This series is excellent!

  • I know I'm making a huge mistake in using my brain to actually think, but... Could it be that the contradictions and doublespeak in the Bible indicate the book is simply the product of bigoted, ignorant ancient men, and that Yahweh is just another man-made deity? I cast my vote for Yes!

  • @cancerousmojo actually you failed in doing what you said...using your brain, if you had you would have realized that the bible is true and God does exist...and since you PROBABLY voted for obama, your vote is useless:)..have a great christmas!

  • and so many of you seriously take this bible as your "factual" doctrine.

An "Omnipotent" "perfect" God, that feels petty human emotion like jealousy? He Hates, He is harsh and unreasonable.

and why does God have a gender?

  • Best part "The Jealous God."

  • I love Jesus Christ

  • I actually read Matthew 10:34-36 and was astonished to find not only was it true but the words are in red and when he says "SET A MAN AT VARIANCE WITH HIS FATHER..." it's actually CAPATALIZED to put more emphasis on it. Showing it is important. And then when it says "`AND A MAN'S FOE SHALL BE THEY OF HIS OWN HOUSEHOLD" It's not only capatilized but when he says "SHALL" It's capitalized AND Italicized, adding even more emphasis...it's so crazy

  • I mean 31:48

  • LOL 31:51 I think he speaks for all of us. Just joking yall I totally took that out of context

  • Sorry for so many posts, but I wanted to explain that there ARE people, according to the bible who will go to hell no matter what. Those would be people like me. People who will not follow God. And God has also planned that those people will never accept him. Because he hates me lol. Probably cause I talk to damn much :P

  • It's just that your decision has already been decided.

  • Don't let this get you down though because it is actually very complex. (Again, I'm agnostic but I'm not a bad person) If you follow his word ONE HUNDRED PERCENT. TODAY. Then apparently God has preordained you to be his follower. IT DOES NOT MEAN YOU CAN'T CHANGE. What it means is that if you change right now, then God has planned that change already and you will see heaven :) so don't get upset. According to scriptures, you can be saved at anytime, by your decision it's true.

  • After you add all the inconsistencies and sugarcoating you believe, you really are worshipping a completely different God. What does this mean? It means that according to scriptures you have not been ordained by God to be his follower...Rationalize it however you want but when you're done...pick up the bible and see for yourself

  • Now you're forced to ask yourself a question...why have we never been taught this? Why have we been taught the opposite? Because the churches and followers sugar coat it. Because if you really think about it, you understand that God DOES intend for some people to go to hell. It casts your whole "All evil is of satan" out the window. You begin to understand that the whole religion you believed is 100% different than what the bible teaches

  • What this means is yes if you are a good christian, then you will in fact be saved BUT God has already determined before you are born whether or not you will be a good Christian. And judging by all the hate and hypocrisy...the wrong teachings of ALL churches in one form or another and the overall gullibility of followers...God has decided that no one is a good Christian...according to the bible. Not according to me I don't believe it at all I'm one of those people. It's what God chose lol

  • Ephesians 2:8-10 (Courtesy of CAnswers reply I read this) For by GRACE (God's grace) are ye saved through faith; and that NOT of yourselves: (Not you) it IS the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which GOD HATH BEFORE ORDAINED (Before ordained = preordained) that we should walk in them (Cont.)

  • This guy actually reads the bible and interprets it fairly accurately and I find it extremely hard to believe he is actually Christian. Haha no Christian I have EVER ever ever seen actually believes God's word 100% like this guy does. One thing I do have to argue though is that it is true by the bible (I'm agnostic but still translate the bible literally) that our fates are preordained but ANYONE can be saved. But only if God decided so before he was born

  • yes God does predestinate,,God has his plan and It really is not known in its intirety.the whole heaven hell concept is a false doctrine for the most part, I doubt anyone goes to God for real unless GOD has called them ,Not people that make money off of his word,We the creation have no say

  • Thank you very much for taking the time to do this Larry. Your work is much appreciated. May God bless you and continue to guide you in all truth.

  • i have really enjoyed the program!!

  • @jajuana26 Thank you very much! Currently we have 11 shows in this series on YOUTUBE (please type "LARRY WESSELS UNPOPULAR BIBLE DOCTRINES" in the YOUTUBE search box to bring them up). We still have to edit the final 3 shows in the series so in the end this series will be 14 episodes long. Currently we have 411 videos posted at our YOUTUBE channel CANSWERSTV on all types of subjects, with these subjects being analyzed from a Biblical perspective. The Word of God, though unpopular, is the TRUTH.

  • what i mean lol

  • alot of at u say is true

  • Praise the Lord and may God bless you Larry!

  • @TheWayandWordofLife You haven't studied your Bible, but you're in with a huge crowd that'll agree with you. What you say is what Pelagians/Arminians have been saying for hundreds of years simply because they don't like God (not people) deciding who is saved & who is lost. What you're saying is that God gives people a "chance" to save themselves by their own "free will" & thus people EARN their own salvation by DECISION MAKING thus violating Ephesians 2:8-10, John 1:12-13, & Romans 9:10-23.

  • @ergotrof You would agree then that God doesn't choose people on the basis of their works (Eph 2:8-10, Galatians 2:16, Rom 9: 11-18, etc) so whether they are doing "good" or "bad" has nothing to do with salvation because "There is none righteous, no, not one..." (Romans 3:10-23). Everyone is a sinner & even their best works are as "filthy rags" (Isaiah 64:6). Salvation comes to those who have faith in Jesus Christ (John 3:18) & that's because of God (John 1:12-13, Acts 13:48) not their works.

  • @ergotrof It's interesting that you bring up John 3:16. We have a video posted here on Youtube, a debate actually, that centers on this very verse. You may find it to be a useful Bible study when it comes to God loving everyone & everything (if that is what "world" means in John 3:16). To investigate this please go to the Youtube search box & type in "LARRY WESSELS DEBATE JOHN 3:16" & it should be the first video. The show's title is "Does "World" Always Mean Everybody Who Ever Lived or Not?"

  • Very good Brother. 2 Timothy 4:2

preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction.

  • Thumbs Up!

  • Well done Larry!

  • Why the number title? Sorry its not very informative. Can't you change it?
