I'm amazed at how all subtle but inspiring your version is. Like the original, it's wistful but not melodramatic. I'm not entirely sure what instrument/effect you were using from 0:23- to 0:32 but that just made it so much more "complete".
Thanks for sharing this. It's an amazing homage to an amazing character played by an even more amazing man.
@xy274 Mako (AKA Makoto Iwamatsu) was the original voice actor for Iroh, and a very talented one at that. Another note worthy voice he did was Aku, from samurai jack, and he also was the voice of splinter in the 07 TMNT film. These of course, are just a very few of his roles. He was also a marvelous actor and really paved the way for Asian actors in American films. He died in '06 from a form of lung cancer, and he is and will always be missed by us all.
@thehorriblejoke It's from the series Avatar: The Last Airbender, and is sung by one of the characters to his dead son, who was a soldier. You can google "Leaves from the vine" if you're interested in knowing anymore about the song
@FatedStory nah dude not even, for one half the fans of ang n apa arent even true fans nig. adding this to the movie wud one be bullshit cuz its book two, two be bullshit cuz its honestly the best song n doesnt need to get ruined by having it in a shitty movie based off personally the best show out there to date, i and many other actual fans wud prollly be pissed as fuck if it were to be added to an airbender movie which without even seeing it knows it will suck from the plot and the story
@boboiskool Yeah, I agree with you, however they are making three seperate movies for each book. I'm not encouraging for them to try and recreate a master piece, because it's not possible. However if they were to do so, all I was suggesting is that this would be a decent place.
Also, what don't you seem to like about the plot and story? From what I know so far, they're sticking very close to the story line, especially since the two story writers for Avatar The last Airbender, are working too.
@ShanaroNeasomi Man I just got back from Japan recently... True beauty lies in the Hills around Hirado and in Nokko Village... I was so surprised. I spent my free time just chilling on the hills, walking the shores, and just thinking :D
For Mako. RIP

If they plan on adding that scene in the movie, a place like the one in this pictures showed be used - during sunset.
