This album is one of the tops, it could of been huge, We know what happened, I seen this tour in the Quad Cities and was like really pumped to see this album but Larry was there and I was Robbed! I do like Lawrence but... Dennis and JY owe me this tour!!!
@styxchick4ever I love how they puposly left a tiny room for improvement in their songs so when they have been playing the song for a few years they can make it more emotional, or surprise us with something new.
Tommy Shaw looks like a walking skeleton with that short hair and goatee. He really needs to grow his hair back longer and shave that crap off of his face. And... bring Dennis De Young back to the band. Hey, who founded "STYX" anyway?
This song, on this dvd, on the dish network, on the freeview channel, in 2003 got me hooked on Styx and Tommy for life! I even forgot I originally tuned in to see REO
This song has special meaning since parts of it was used in my mom's funeral service in 2001, i was at this show truly amazing, i remember it like it was yesterday. My mom was a huge styx fan as well. Come Sail Away was in the service as well.
possably one of the best songs by styx saw them in west palm beach fl in 2001 or 02 lawn seats but i swear u could c the blue of shaw's eyes next too the journey/leppard concert styx is a very close second for me
One of my favorite styx songs. Up there with Suite Madame Blue and Castle Walls. I don't think this song gets its just dues. Gowan can sure hammer out that keyboard, but he's a long shot from Dennis.
@Wofat newer songs like this never get their "just dues", no matter how good they are (and this is one of their very best, for sure). Dennis wrote the song "Great Expectations" (from the same original album as this) to illustrate that very point. Fans of these old bands frequently get on at them to release new music, then say it's not a patch on the old stuff, even when it's great.
these songs are from the 21st century live cd- but you are right they were repackaged from arch allies. i have that dvd somewhere, and when i have a chance i'll see if i can post those for you.

Nobody ever notices, but Shaw and Young can write some kick ass lyrics, both on their own and together.
