I had to send Camelot over the Bridge when she broke her femur in her stall one night. I had to send Zipper to join Camelot after a 9-hr battle with colic, and Derringer? Being an amateur, I needed something easy and I found that to be the easiest. To everyone who has experienced the loss of a beloved furbaby, please know I feel your pain and pray for you daily.
I lost my horse last April. He was 45 yrs old and he needed a shot just to stand up. Our vet said that was unhealthy, so we had to put him down. It really hurts.

hey, im sorry bout your horses, i know how you feel.. two of my horses passed awaywith in this last year. Fire Fly- my appaloosa, she died of cancer, and she folwed me every where, and she would cry when i wwent off for school ,and she would always breakout of the pasture to come find me at school, and wait for me to come out that front door, we were such a great part of one together!

How did Camelot, Zipper, and Derringer pass? im so sorry. i feel for you. My TB Ivy just died a few days ago. She Landed wrong on her foot after a 4 foot jump. I wish i could make a video for her.
Oxhunzzxo, thank you for caring. I lost my Camelot to a severely fractured femur, I lost my Zipper to the dreaded colic, and my angel, Derringer, to hip dysplegia. They all made me make the decision to send them over to Rainbow Bridge, but I am consoled in knowing they all went peacefully, and that I was able to be there for each of them, with my voice being the last thing heard and my hands gently comforting them as they quietly crossed over the Bridge.
Im so so so sorry! My Abby was put down from a fractured femur also. I feel for you and hope you can get over it peacefully. Your video is awsome and it makes me cry everytime. The part that ALWAYS gets me is when it shows zippers grave stone. People say to get over it, that its just an animal, you will never understand until you have a horse loss. Im so sorry. I am *owned* by more horses, yes :) There is King Arthur (he was Camelot's soul mate), Missy Bubbles (who is still going strong at 45 years old), Cindergirl (who is trying so hard to be King Arthur's new girlfriend), and PJ (who was Zipper's best buddy). I also have two dwarf mini horses, little Angel and Pokey..two of the cutest tiniest horses that God ever created :)

At least with the Bridge, we know where our furkids are, and there they are safe. I am so sorry for your pain, my heart feels it for you. And you are so right, I really was the lucky one to have been so blessed by their presence in my life. Because of them, I was the lucky one, and I will never, ever forget them, they live on in my heart and in my dreams :)
