  • Barbara, what do you think of the Raw Vegan Diet. I've been experimenting with that. If I do the elimination diet, find my food sensitivities, then eat OK raw vegan food, so you think this is a good plan for RA relief?

  • @HuterGirl1 Yes, that is an excellent plan, if your body does well on a raw vegan diet. From a healing point of view, as long as you are avoiding any foods or substances causing delayed hypersensitivities, you have enough healthy variety in your diet and the raw vegan diet is well tolerated by your body, then the raw vegan diet is an optimal diet for healing arthritis. However, if any one of these three condtitions is not met, you may need to modify your diet to heal.

  • @HuterGirl1 If you have many food sensitivities, it is often highly useful to take the alcat blood test (see my ConqueringArthritis website) in order to sort them all out. The you can use an elimination diet to sort out whether you are reacting to other foods not tested for by the ALCAT test.
