I used to live in Tucson, AZ and they used to have these all the time. The Tucson cops are the most Nazi-esque cops I have ever had to deal with. They harass anyone and they do whatever they want. If they pull over an old women they will have four cops pull over one person.

These checkpoints are not about drunk drivers thats what they are claiming but it is about training all of us to start submiting to a police state. What will happen when they require all US citizens to carry a tattoo or some barcode to track us. Thanks for doing this.

This video series was a waste of my ten minutes. I understand what your point is, but I don't think these videos proved it very well. I just saw a handful of police officers and a handful of volunteers checking to make sure people weren't drinking and driving. Its a good idea for a number of reasons, it helps prevent unnecessary deaths for starters. I don't see a connection between Nazi Germany and the police nor do I see a connection between volunteers and a civilian spy squad.

I volunteered at that checkpoint - he failed to film me, I'm not an "old" person. This video was filmed when the checkpoint had died down, hardly any traffic and shortly before it was shut down. Nobody minded that he was filming, I remember him being there. Why don't you join the volunteers? You'll find out that we are very good if not better than Officers at directing traffic. And you will have more than enough opportunity to get better videos than this!
