no offense, but you're kinda tourturing the little thing. If it doesn't want to move and just sit there you should let it be, you wouldn't want someone doing that to you, with or without a disability.

@bananatimetv That's not true at all. A lot of CH kittens don't necessarily improve, but learn to compensate. The only way to do that is to get them up and moving.

CH kitties tend to be more sociable, friendly and loveable than their healthy brethren. They Do purr whenever you give them attention. My Percy is SOOOO sociable, loves to be loved. I hope he does well! God bless!

Thank you for taking him in with you! I saved a stray cat 3 1/2 years ago and he is with me today. He is lovable as well and I am also glad that there are caring people in this world! Videos like this always make me cry! :_(

@devolutionone No, CH kitties don't even realize they are different. And they live as long as healthy cats. They don't have associated pain from the CH. And due to being exposed to distemper in the womb (that is why they have this condition, mom had the virus) they are immune to distemper (or so my vet says).

I have a cat like this - an adorable gray Bengal striped female that's now 16 months old. I had never heard of CH; in fact, I only learned about it recently, so when my daughter brought her home as a tiny kitten, I was pretty concerned. As she grew, she adapted to the condition and now, while she'll always be clumsy, she gets around quite well and can actually run faster than most cats.

One thing I don't see a lot about is their size. My cat is small, like a 3/4 scale model of a regular cat.

These special cats will steal your heart in a milli-second!! I also have a CH kitty. They are so special and you just want to love them and care for them. My Buddy doesn't have it quite as severe as your kitty. I'm glad you have him. Like others have said, they are immediately euthanized most of the time.

So how is your cat walking now? I have a little CH sweetie named Jaspurr. He is 9 weeks old now. He looks to be about the same severity as this little kitty. Do they learn to adapt to this and walk any better?

Why not make a sling? I cut out the bottom of a large t-shirt.  Walk him around with it. Just for play time. So he can have a little success at four-legged mobility. He's a darling.....purring to comfort himself.

I got my CH cat when he was a bit older than this, but he is black and this makes me think of what he must have been like when he was this age. Shadow is THE sweetest cat I have ever had. CH is a blessing in disguise :)

yeah funny cat has smal cerebellum which is 50% of a cats brain... she/he will learn to walk better .. and probably be a bit smarter due to a larger cortex.

How precious! He reminds me of my little CH kitty that I lost in July 2008 - she was 11 years old and I miss her dearly!
