It is the guitar player. He doesn't fret things to a point where they ring out right. Part of it is the guitar which sounds like complete and utter shit but its obvious with a lot of his stuff he just doesn't play that well as far as basics go. I would rather listen to someone play something easy and clean than complicated and messy.
