Now that's impressive. Picking on a friggin 14 year old kid like you're Franz LIzst. Yes it wasn't Oscar Levant, but the performance and multiple piano arrangement at least deserve some encouragement. This kid will get there, if he hasn't already.
This is great performance! My only niggle is that its a little too swung, but thats just personal taste, but in terms of performance and what-not its brilliant.
The people who criticize are usually the ones that can't do as well, OR they would be. Note, they never refer you to 'their' performance. I think these kids are prodigy's.
Who ARE these people who only criticize? The performance was WONDERFUL. I thoroughly enjoyed it. And I appreciate the owner putting this on UTube... all I can say is "Keep up the good work! and Thank you!"
I've listened to 4 or 5 versions on the Rhapsody on Utube by various talented but amateur pianists. Most of the performances are chopped and ragged, with poor understanding of Gershiwin's phrasing. They all need to consult a serious pedagogue to understand G's intentions.
Why don't you show the other piano players, repost it showing them all , have someone eles video tape it, so we can see all 3 of you, very boring just watching the one piano
Of course there are others playing along. Hence the title "3pianists" and the picture of THREE different pianists that pops up towards the bigging. I do a gree it's a little too chaotic for me, but its different and kind of nice none the less...
I don't know....for the whole first part he wasn't playing the extremely hard part (it's a given that any part of this piece on it's own is difficult.) but he eventually started playing the melody and everything on his own and it sounded pretty darn good.
Quality is very bad. Too bad because the playing is awesome!

You play with passion and beauty in every note you hit, but...I would rather hire a fucking monkey to play the piano for me.

Awesome, pianos need to be tunes though.
And still like the straight eighth notes as compared to your swing version, but it was a nice change:)

pointless to record when pianos are all out of tune. My ears said "no more" after about 10 seconds.

Rhasody in Blue is a duet but it also can be a solo. I'm learning it and have completed 14 pages only.

it's not a duet. It's orchestra reduction
