On top of a cliff overlooking Terrokar Forrest and A'dal's Beacon, an observer acknowledges the the mystery of strange world...this music is just epic and cosmically catching
This bring back many memories. Thanks a lot ! By the way... I'm a great fan of WoW soundtrack and i have them all, for most that is available. Can you tell me a clue of how i can download the soundtrack of all the zone ? Like in TBC/WOTLK. IT would help a lot, thanks again.
@gerillamotherf thought it was only me who felt that at that part. at times i just find myself looking at the planets and listening. i thought this song was hard after the battle of wrathgate in the old days when u had to find the piece of the sheild before doing the battle of Undercity
A mortally wounded warrior, after going through mountains and forests, walking into an old, ruined cathedral. When he's halfway through the hall, light begins to shine through the, mostly smashed, stain-glasses windows. He sees them and keeps going. He falls at the end, on top of the altar, taking his last breath as he closes him eyes. Light begins to surround him, as he opens his eyes he sees a winged creature reach down and grab him as he ascends and vanishes out of sight.
From 2:50 on is my favorite part. The whole theme has such a feeling of grief and tragedy about it, which is fitting, based on where it plays and what happened there.
1:13 and on sounds very much like one of the Halo levels in the Halo series. Can't think of which one though. I absolutely LOVE this music nonetheless. :)
@wkunzelman1 OMG YES was just about to comment that XD, its weird how Outland takes on the whole "Sci Fi" Music sought of theme but gives it the fantasy game twist. I love both halo and wow, this is an amazing piece of music.
I deffinitly remember this song, and all of the other soundtrack songs. Damn I love wow. That might sound weird to people that don't play, but you get a type of connection with it. Its hard to explain. But this is amazing!
0:50 onwards. I remember this part, it always used to relax me.

WoW tends to piss me off alot.. from the repetitive gameplay to the asshole people. But the music rarely lets me down.

I gape with awe at those who play WoW with no sound... They miss so much.
A part of what makes this game so amazing is the music, and it is just flawless.

Reminds me of some of Metroid Prime's themes. A calm yet mysterious feeling of exploring an uncharted, alien world.
powerovercorrupt 2 years ago 7
Indeed, but i wouldn't call it 'alien' because it feels, despite mysterious, like home anyway ;)
