  • BS. You are a stupid ignorant arse. Biased BS.

  • rubio is good

  • @ttketb666 And when asking the question if somewhere is a good place to live or not I think it has to be seen in a relative context doesn't it? I mean.. compare the US history to that of any major power in history and you'll see more benevolence by extraordinary percentages from America than anywhere else. And if you say it's not true... well basically that's a perspective based in hate.

  • @ttketb666 Yes.. I am aware of the specifics of the Scandanavian application of Socialism.. and they are not truly successful. Look at the growth curve of Scandanavian economies... oh.. there isn't one. Maybe some would argue that's a good thing. But when speaking about the U.S. it is not ever going to be possible to have a similar Government because it simply could not work given the factors of economics and international trade that is specific to the US.

  • Marco Rubio, ignorance is a bliss! Get your head out of your a s s, you should be quiet as your parents would say "los niños hablan cuando las gallinas mean". Learn something from someone doubling your age before you open that mouth which is nothing but a "letrina".

  • The progressive channel sides with the progressive debater? Absolutely shocking.

  • And the reason we have a national debt problem is because Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security are pyramid schemes that can not be sustained. And the only reasons why Clinton had a surplus is because he adopted Conservative principles in his economics and he was President during the most boom time in our financial history! Had nothing to do with him.

  • @bassbignbad For one, HOUSEHOLD debt has exploded. The Fed says it doubled between 1975 and 2005. The household debt to earnings ratio has gotten worse since the financial crisis began. Corporate debt has gone up as well, especially the debt of the financial sector. People like you ignore all of this and focus just on the government. It makes no logical sense. Is there a reason you don't mention this? Beyond all of that...

  • @bassbignbad we, starting with the Bush administration, have allowed the banks to transfer as much as 13 TRILLION onto the tax payer since the crisis began. The right started a war that will cost at least 3 trillion (which the left largely opposed), passed tax cuts during that war, fought another for over a decade now (1 trillion), spend over a trillion annually, all things considered, on our military empire. They created a corporate welfare monstrosity with Medicare Part D too.

  • Cenk, You need to fix this video. At the end of this video, you are automatically taken to a PRO Rubio video. Also, when this happens, you cannot get the embed links. Those evil Rovian rascals must have hacked your video so it does this at the end. Will you fix it? I want to embed your video on my blog and I can't get to it.

  • Where does he get that only ten percent of seniors retire in poverty? It's like ninety percent of the seniors I know! And one hundred percent are worried they will out live their money.

  • Marco Rubio must get ready! Most of liberal are frightened and trying to ivnestigate his life, manipulating his speechs and bashing him for no reason. The time to have a real and ugly fight against liberal is ready. These guys are tough liars and u must be prepared, Mr. Rubio!

  • I live how this moron exaggerates and distracts from a deeper truth. SS is a non issue if you look at the entire monetary system. The vortex that sucks all our taxes and interest is the CENTRAL BANKING CARTELS. SS is a scab on an AIDS victims forehead. This guy is a FUCKING CLOWN!

  • @poppanolan Right on. I just hope later when your kids disown you, you won't come down with any kind of medical complications that rob you of your savings. Because then you might look back fondly on your old petty scabs.

  • @naphtali61 HAHA You do not get it...because you are lost in the LR paradigm. Look deeper you sad little lamb... if our banking system was not designed to rape and enslave the masses...WE COULD KEEP SS AND MEDICARE AND FEED THE ENTIRE GLOBE. Our banking and monetary system is EVIL. LOOK DEEPER.

  • @FumingPoliticalPunk Wrong... again, and this time I'm not surprised.

Your "libertarianish" talking point basically says, Social Security, is going broke.

Reality says: Social Security has run a surplus since it began, has a trust fund in the trillions, is completely sound for at least 25 more years and cannot legally borrow so cannot contribute to the deficit.

Go ahead and dispute reality with your fantasy, its fun watching you do so.

  • @FumingPoliticalPunk that is such a bewilderingly stupid stat you just said "which did not cover the program last year, and is not expected to ever again after 2015." where did this 2015 stat come from if it's already not paying for itself as you claim?

  • Rubio is such a punk, he complains about the government paying for his own damn healthcare? government paying for his freaking retirement? its ok for him but not for anyone else???

  • @FumingPoliticalPunk you have that number opposite it actually has a surplus of 2.6 trillion, FICA has provided 2.5 trillion more to our govt. than it has paid out it is very very simple.

  • @FumingPoliticalPunk WRONG... AGAIN!

I actually researched this & It is a FACT, not a talking point that SS has NOTHING to do with the federal deficit, it is a pay as you go program, funded through payroll taxes & matching contributions from employers. My source for this is -ssa. gov/ pressoffice/ basicfact.htm- look it up yourself.

You are the one with the talking points of "SS no longer supports itself" an absurd argument that the media often parrots to further misinform people like you. LOL

  • @tannersanta PREACH!

  • @FumingPoliticalPunk Not true, SS & MC where set up so that they would self-sustain & not add one dime to the national debt EVER.

The fact that neocons have been taking the money from those programs to fund their bullshit that only benefits a few, is the problem.

Now they say "we don't have money to continue SS & MC for future gen" why? because we used it on wars & giving tax breaks to the wealthy class.

Fact is SS and MC did not ripped off future generations, our privately owned Govt did.

  • Another superficial emotional argument made by a conservative. Cenk is right. Those simplistic arguments always seem appealing on the face, but rarely hold up on further inspection.

  • Republicans are afraid if the rich get taxed then the rich will have no money to donate to republican campain contributions.

  • For the most part NO ONE did these things traditionally.

    Dude needs a history lesson.

  • We are all family. Why are we limiting family to the few that are around us.

  • Marco Rubio comes from FL with huge seniors population & I say good luck winning election next time around by going against SS and medicare. Just hope they don't catch you and put on raft & send you back to Cuba.

  • @samk2785 Marco Rubio won in a landslide like most of the Republicans in 2010. 2010 was just a warmup for the beatdown that will be inflicted on Democrats in 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018.........

  • I really hope you american guys vote for Bernie Sanders, I've looked him up he seems like the only sane politician I've seen. Do the right thing america

    Bernie Sanders 2012 PLEASE

  • @luckyshoty You sound like a fox news anchor. "Who the hell cares if we have sources, if it sounds good to our political agenda, it is true." I'll admit, the senior poverty difference is not completely due to the introduction of social security, but the facts are that if a retired senior is not a millionare or doesn't have several hundred thousand $ in the bank, social security IS a valuable blanket to rest on once you are too old to work. Many seniors would be impoverished without it.

  • Bernie Sanders for President 2012

  • @luckyshoty Why don't you have some compassion for the people who don't work anymore? Also, social security is something that pays out to everyone, so don't start claiming it's a burden on working people. People who pay into social security are paying for their future, that's what I call simple and fair.

  • @luckyshoty What exactly has caused less seniors to not be impoverished, then? Your comment that people carry less debt is COMPLETELY untrue, as debt is higher from person to person and as a nation as a whole now than it has ever been. You also say people save money better now than before, which may be true....but pretty much every senior that I know that isn't a millionaire definitely benefits at such a degree from social security that if they had still retired without it they would be poor.

  • From the UK and its scary to see how a world leader being the US is leading the world financially and times of war which were tied up with....and now you cant even look after your own people, shocking goverment, absoloutley disgusting.

  • Anyone want a crazy person? He's housebroken! (I think...)

  • Lastly, what would be the benefit of cutting that $10 billion and giving it to every Canadian while letting 1.67 million fend without? If the $10 billion were distributed to every Canadian, this would amount to a year end check of $307/person.

Do I want cut 1.67 million from the social safety net so I can have another $307 per year? Hardly worth the effort of even thinking about really.

  • Assigning a very generous stipend of $500/mo (the rate varies and is much lower for single people compared to families ect), the total cost was just over $10 billion to support 1.67 million downtroden people. Our GDP in 2007 was $38,600/person and the cost of social services was 0.8% of the GDP. Not much really. Last year the government spent $9 billion for 63 fighter jets. What was the better social value? 63 planes or feeding 1.67 million people?

  • I got into an argument with my daughters boyfriend his is right leaning. He got onto how welfare uses up so much money in the Canadian system. I decided to check out stats Canada on the issue. The 2007 report showed 1.67 million Canadians (5.1% of the population) receiving social benefit. Of these, 1.22% were children and 1.48% were on disability status. That left 2.40% (<800,000 people) of the population capable of work which isn't that bad. (cont).

  • And being 2nd to Fox in the ratings is the same thing as being first in a shit eating contest. Nobody cares

  • @icongrapher I still get nothing that actually refutes my statements, just dumb ass kids calling my names. Which just goes to prove that you are just too stupid to know what you're talking about. If you want to spend your lives with the Government taking care of you like mommy and daddy, that's your business. Just don't ask tax payers to foot the bill for your laziness

  • What they want is for everybody to be Christian. Hey, if you're Christian, your church will help you! If you're not, burn in hell - you deserve it.

  • Before seeing Bernie Sanders speak, I would have ABSOLUTELY pegged him as a republican. I guess not all old politicians are giant assholes like the republicans:D

  • You Americans need a Tommy Douglas:)

  • Social Security should be optional, if you don't want to pay the extra money in your youth, fine, but if you're fucked when you're old you only have one person to blame

  • @resincoatedlungs Unfortunately, things like that kind of require large amounts of people paying in, like any insurance.

  • @resincoatedlungs

then maybe it shouldn't exist. i don't know, sure, it's selfish not to help other people, but you can't force people to be nice, that's authoritarian bullshit from a different extreme, but what do I know?

  • Who does Rubio think the government is? What does he think about democracy? What about We, the People, coming together through our democratic institutions to decide the common good?.

  • Rubio wants us to adopt a Batista like system.

  • cenk's hair will be epic when he grays around his side burns a little more

  • why did the govt "assume" these responsibilities, because they wanted to muscle into the helping people sector because....because.....what are you talking about? They stepped in because it wasnt being done, but then again, for your average republican voter, this is lost on them and replaced with "the government is trying to control our lives because...." because it's fun? they are comic book villains? politicians need to be responsible and stop coddling these fucking morons.

  • @deepfriedchocobo <----------- FAGGOT!

  • Rubio - a romantic vision of America like the "Gay 90's" that never existed.

  • "He, and the other conservatives who have bought in to this fantasy re-imagining of our past, need to be brought back to reality with decisive swiftness and force." Gotta love the authoritarian mindset of progressives.

  • @redcups21 i suppose you would compare that with the authoritarian xtian conservative mindset?

  • Th Republicans are like Bernie Madoff, they used SSI as a ponzi scheme.

Throw their asses in jail for 150 years.

  • @psychokillercrab

    SSI is a ponzi scheme.

Your payments are whats going to senior citizens.

    It relys on population growth.

    Which is a huge problem

  • @Salvysahagun I don't believe it is a ponzi scheme. What I am saying is that it is what the republicans want to turn it into.

  • @psychokillercrab

Do you even know how Social Security works?

The Payments your grandmother gets are made up of the FICA tax you and your friends pay.

4 fica's = one Check for old person.

When done in the private sector its called a ponzi scheme

  • @Salvysahagun I KNOW THAT! BUT WHEN THE GOVT TAKES THAT MONEY AND USES IT FOR WARS INSTEAD THEN WANT TO GET RID OF IT, IT IS A PONZI SCHEME BECAUSE THE LAST 12 YEARS I HAVE PAID INTO IT I WILL NEVER SEE.

    God are you that dumb?

  • How can anyone take care of anyone when our wages are remarkably low? There is no way in HELL I could take care of any of my family members with the wages I make and I am a college educated.

Maybe he can because of his corporate donors!

  • Bernie Sanders ran and was elected as a REPUBLICAN, after winning the election he claimed to be an independant, but caucuses with the democrats and votes 100% with the democrats. How can anyone believe what comes out of his mouth, he would sell his mother, if he had one, for a buck.

  • And Cenk... come on man... stop playing. When u admit that the "surplus" money is not even there anymore it means there is NO surplus lol

Obviously, SS is being used for things other than what they were inteneded to be used. The government should not be telling people how to invest, how to plan for their futures etc. I really hope we get rid of this useless thing..

  • @guitarmaestro078 Social security is the number one reason that Norway is the best place to live in the WORLD. It's not useless at all. Theoretically poverty doesn't exist, only among illegal immigrants.

  • I dont agree with Cenk on this one.. Social Security has to go. I dont plan on having SS and I dont really care. People need to stop trying to use government money to save everybody.

I agree with Rubio on people becoming too dependent on the government. People should really start working on being independent and self sustaining without having to use government money for it..

  • @guitarmaestro078 actually....uh....ss is taken from all our paychecks....it's not government money. it's our money.

  • How can you vote for a group that LIES about Social Security???

  • @jjamerican93 because the other alternative is worse--and no, i don't particularly like democrats either.

  • back in the day where family and community cared for eachother people died from small infections. Now we know that a doctor is your best chance of survival. So, are Republicans telling us to laydown and die?! I take this as a threat. It is time for the progressives of America to fight back with all our strength!!

  • Blah blah blah, my side is right and you are wrong. Haha we are far superior than u

  • @dffykvn

    Hong KOng

  • well back in the 50s a family could survive on a single income..... then greedy assholes like rubio showed up. THATS why Marco!

  • I don't have anything against entitlement programs like medicare, social security, and medicaid besides the fact we can't afford them. We're 14 trillion dollars in debt.

  • @claton95 so we just cut defense spending, that's all.

  • @claton95 We have a surplus in social security for the next 30 years at the very least. A repealing Bush tax cuts more then takes cares of the rest. Furthermore healthcare costs are raising faster then medicare so if you cut those all you will have is a bounce of dying sick people. Sounds like you have the wrong priorities, or at least you lack all the facts.

  • @thesparitan lol no. I guess so just don't realize that social security and medicare are in the exact same situation as the housing market collapse in 2008. They're a ticking time bomb. In the 2000s people were saying the exact same thing as you're saying now. We have time, we have more time, put it off till another time. We can't keep going down that same path.

  • @claton95 That is not an argument. Do you have evidence that social security will lose its surplus in less then 30 years? And all we have to do to save it is raise tax slightly, back to the rate during the 90's economic boom time. You lack basic understanding of what an argument is, or logic for that matter. Its not a ticking time bomb, its not a bubble under any form. BTW US T-bonds are at the lowest interests rate many decades, so we are not defaulting.

  • @thesparitan hopefully this will bring you back to planet earth,

    usdebtclock . org

  • Exactly, all the republicans want to do is rob the American people of the money they paid into it. They say shit like well people get back more than they pay in, but the reality is a lot of people don't even live long enough to collect SS. And when they die there isn't anyone going around to give that money back to their next of kin , etc. If you are a common man / woman and you vote for republicans you are incredibly stupid.

  • Rubio sounds like his mindset is still trapped in the illusion of the "Golden Age of the 1950's" when America was invincible and there were absolutely no problems ever in any conceivable way. He, and the other conservatives who have bought in to this fantasy re-imagining of our past, need to be brought back to reality with decisive swiftness and force. The 50's were not magical golden days and you cannot make Americans live by the standard of your delusional version of our past.

  • @TheGunpowderTreason remember remember the 5th of november.

  • Prior to SS the retirement of people where routinely evaporated by the banksters After SS people did do save for retirement After the Reagan deregulation climate, the banksters again evaporated retirement savings The only problem with the gvmnt is it's refusal to prosecute those who commit fraud.

  • republicans care about their money and thats all.they expect us to keep suffering.keep accepting pay cuts, until when?

what happens when we are all dead except for the rich?

what will the world be like then? they are very sick these republican politicians.

  • When it comes to the GOP, sanity is as hard to find as Dick Cheney's pulse.

  • Republicans make baby Jesus cry.

  • What a fucken moron these leaders are and a scum of the earth , there we have most developed nations and some non developed have universal health cover ... The big problem is from the root course is that America has legalized corruption, and its corrupt government ensured only corrupt politicians can come to power---you cannot vote for a leader to fix this, because they can't from the inside---the system has been manipulated to prevent this.

  • Hey, how is Cenk's TV show going? Oh that's right, he got cancelled off of MSNBC because he sucked so bad. Seriously, how bad do you have to suck to get fired by MSNBC?

  • @coltsfan702 He actually had great ratings. MSNBC wanted to rehire him, but to a lesser role with a significantly higher pay rate, probably to prevent him from speaking out. They basically didn't like how Cenk actually went after the guests and washington thinking so they didn't want to give him a primetime slot even though his ratings were fantastic.

  • @coltsfan702 actually, when he came on msnbc, ratings for his time slot increased a huge amount in the target demo--i think he was 2nd only to fox at that hour.

  • Nilbud "Your Time Will Come" Not worried about you buddy, you're too lazy to do anything. You'll expect someone else to do it for you. And you say I'm not the bright one.

The Sparitan, I know why you use that argument, it's because you're parroting other people. and you're too ignorant to know what the Federal Government is actually supposed to do. And it's not to give stuff away.

And don't worry abut me and the water, my tax money paid for a water system. Part of that infrastructure thing

  • "They're comin' for your retirement money!" - George Carlin

  • LeksServices posted, @coltsfan702 - Build your spaceship and live on the moon. Without any outside help. I double-dog dare you!

Now what kind of sense does that comment make? No wonder Libtards are too stupid to take care of themselves

  • @coltsfan702 um...you do realize that your parents are probably not actual teachers right? home schooling really doesn't mean that mom and dad are teachers-it means they're like barbers who cut their own hair--um....uh....i'm fairly sure that makes them, and idiots like you, dumb as dogshit.

  • Bernie Sanders is not an Independent. He's a self avowed socialist

  • JohnEdwards1968. I take part in society by going to work everyday and paying my own bills and taxes. Do the same

  • Starry2000. It's our duty to take care of the helpless, fuck the clueless

  • For you idiots that keep using the argument about the Government paying for cops and firemen and to build roads. That's the job they're supposed to do . That's why some of us pay taxes. For infrastructure and National Security, not welfare and free healthcare. Take care of yourselves, you entitled little snots

  • @coltsfan702 Your time will come.

  • @coltsfan702 Umm you don't understand the reason we use that argument do you? How pathetic.

  • watched this vid, then remembered you guys are complete idiots and it all made sense.

  • @Frettsy Thanks moron I know how much effort it is for you to find the right shapes on the keyboard.

  • Comment removed

  • republicans are hatefilled selfish assholes and can go fuck themselves.

  • IT'S BS. LIE. LIE. LIE.LIE. LEFTISTS ONLY LIE. If you look at the entireRubio's speech he say his owb mother is on social security and he respects social security. He said jsut people who aren't able to have health plans for themsleves should be helped. But his son of bt... leftist always manipulated everything. YOUNG TURK, GO KILL SOME YOUNG ARMENIANS. THAT'S ALL U KNOW HOW TO DO.

  • @predador21 You're such a simpleminded dolt, it's quaint. You should know that you've filled your fat head with laughable nonsense and your incontinent cowardly fear is showing. Y'thick cunt.

  • best politician left in washington, shocker he's (I)

  • @Andy180084 He's a registered "independent" just like Joe Lieberman is a registered independent, and we all know that Joe is a republican. Just like these "Blue Dog" democrats who live under the party affilation of being a liberal, but they have constantly voted against everything President Obama has proposed.

The problem is that Cenk knows this. You hardly hear him mention anything about Ben Nelson, Heath Shuler & co.. Instead he attacks Obama for everything.

  • @whiteliberal1 The democrats are a pathetic charade of politics, just as the republicans have manipulated their supporters into actually believing and accepting their insane viewpoints, the democrats have successfully conned their supporters into believing they're the good guys.

  • Van Jones Primary Obama, I will drink to that.

    Cheers.

  • berny sanders lost that debate...

  • Social Security prevents over population and eventually shortages in jobs. No safety net results in the need for 4-5 children per family to eventually support the parents. We would be looking at a baby boom 3 to 4 times that of WW2.

  • @snowbaordguru I am skeptical of the claim that Social Security prevents over population. Do you have any evidence that it supports your claim? I would be surprised to see some, but I would add another reason for supporting SS. So I am keen to see it me self

  • Bernie Sanders 2012

  • God, who doesn't love Bernie Sanders? I get a chill just from that short clip.

  • @BBBoggs I love the guy, but unfortunately, he's a lone voice in this. There aren't any true fighters left in Washington and those who do fight get thrown under the bus and kicked out.

  • Oh Florida.....

  • He is an anchor baby this smuck just does not get it seniors paid for there retirement it theirs...

  • Bernie Sanders should run!

  • Marco Rubio is a dumbass. What does he think Social Security is? It's SOCIETY taking care of people just like he talked about. In fact, it's even more than that. It's us taking care of ourselves as well! We all pay into SSI, and we deserve that money back.

  • @danmarg83 Really, there are people who pay very little into Social Security and are able to raise families on it. That's the reason Social Security must be reformed.

  • @danmarg83 Most people wont listen to you, they just are so astoundingly ignorant of so much history and evidence that they might as well been born yesterday. I am personally going to vote for Rick Perry if he wins the primary because I hate america and want everything to fall apart. So Rick Perry is the best man for the job.

VOTE Rick Perry and Marco Rubio because america sucks and we can make it worse. America will never learn because it can't learn.

  • @Stevie68000 I'm sick of you zionists always bragging about Judaism, give it a rest. Yeah yeah the Chosen people ok ok I get it.

  • Republicans do not believe in evidence. As strange as this seems it is now a truism of our political system. So when you are debating them try to avoid using to many facts and instead appeal to emotion. It may seem silly and illogical but we are dealing with class 5 morons here and we don't have a choice

    .

  • @thesparitan Yep. It is no small coincidence that the majority of Republicans are also fierce Christians. These people run their lives without evidence and even against evidence and the politicians know it. That's why they cater to the religious which have low standards of evidence and little in the way of critical thinking skills; easy picken's. The majority of the 'Bible Belt' vote Republican, against their own interests as they are primarily welfare states, and against Jesus' teachings. Sad.

  • @cablepanos There must be some religion in the Democrat Party for Maxine Waters to tell the Tea Party " to go to hell.".

  • @chaumont20 Where did I suggest that there are no religious Democrats?

  • @cablepanos I thought all Democrats were atheists. Isn't that the Progressive litmus test for ideological purity. I guess the ones who believe offset that with their " good intentions. "

  • @chaumont20 All democrats are not atheist and not all atheist are democrats, this is so insane a statement I wonder if you are not totally ignorant of political dynamics in the US. The large majority of democrats are Christians so that renders any suggestion so completely insane. As an atheist I can say I am very dissatisfied with the democratic party on religious matters and thus even though I happen to be a progressive I am not a democrat, only vote for them sometimes.

  • @thesparitan " I happen to be a progressive I am not a democrat, only vote for them sometimes. " LOL Well maybe President Obama will get a primary challenge from Van Jones.

  • @chaumont20 What a reasonable response sir, I am impressed. I honestly didn't think you had it in you say something reasonable. Yes we can only hope he does get a primary challenge and in all possible worlds from Van Jones(an amazing person and speaker I might add). I fully support that and ask you join me in our support of such a brilliant idea. See we can come to agreement, the situation isn't as bad as I had thought.

Well done sir, well done, HEAR HEAR. Well done indeed.

  • @thesparitan I would love to see a President Obama vs. Van Jones debate with Rush Limbaugh as the moderator. That could be a Pay Per View with the proceeds going to the Wounded Warrior Fund.

  • @chaumont20 take Rush Limbaugh out of the equation and I would be with that.

  • @cablepanos Religion may not be the cause of all irrational thought and I have meet many many atheist who are extremely illogical, irrational and just plain stupid, but even with that I cannot help but think that if we didn't have these religious extremist we would be like France or Sweden. Religion's prime tenet seems to be believe without evidence and to have faith in the ridiculous. You're right is does fit very well with republican values. Sometimes I really hate the republican party.

  • @thesparitan Sounds like you agree overall, but where do I suggest religion is the "cause of all irrational thought" or that all atheists are smarter and more rational? I'm just saying believing Christianity without evidence and believing Republican ideology without evidence go hand in hand. There is definitely a correlation between Red States and the Bible Belt.

  • @cablepanos I wasn't suggesting that you thought that way. I was just musing over my own feelings on the matter and then going into the points you bring up. If it seemed that way then I have to blame my lack of skill as a writer and then limited medium in which I have to work. As an atheists and in some ways an antitheis, I am so critical of religion that I find it better if I hedge against the idea that I blame everything on religion.

In summary I 100% concur with your argument.

  • @thesparitan No problem. It's just that I had two comments seeming to imply the same thing, and I was curious as to how (or if) I conveyed that. The other comment turns out to be from the very same kind of person I was talking about, so no-brainer there.

  • @cablepanos You didn't, but I tried to not convey such an idea myself because I am so close already to such a position as regards to religion. and chaumont20 who has been responding to you is a prime example of the person we are talking about. His ignorance is match by his stupidity but is surpassed by his insanity, which dwarfs his perspicacity. All in all a model republican of the highest order.

  • @chaumont20 That was Nancy Pelosi. She said that Congress needs to pass the bill so THE PEOPLE can find out what's in it. Dems already knew what was in it. The fact that you don't really listen is one of many reasons why we call you morons.

  • @thesparitan:

These people do not inhabit reality. It's much easier to just nod and smile.

  • @force3264 What did you just see?

  • @thesparitan Haha, please tell me this is a sarcastic statement. Liberals are accused of making emotional arguments because they have no actual facts to back up their statements and can thus ONLY appeal to emotion, and here you are telling everybody to do just that.

This statement is so fantastically retarded that it's being saved for future reference, what a perfect window into the liberal mindset. And how sweet that it received so many thumbs up as well.

  • Rubio's not saying it, but the institutions the he thinks are being crowded out are the churches. That's where you'd have to go if you were poor back in the old days. Churches have lost influence and they want it back.

  • @beowulff2 I think your nuanced view is an interesting one and the evidence backs you up. Republicans and their bible thumping mouth breathing benefactors have a keen interest in empowering the churches again. One way to do that is to force people into them through economic warfare. By destroying all the support systems they have, Americans would have no choice but to go back to the corrupt churches they have been leaving in mass these past few years. Last gambit of religion to stay alive.

  • It is too bad Republicans don't ever seem to have to deal with facts...

  • Why hasn't someone started a Bernie Sanders write-in campaign yet?

  • Fuck that. Sanders 2012.

  • @zaggers77 lol, he's cares too much about splitting the vote, allowing a Republican victory. Although he's a strong progressive, he's still an Independent no?

  • Yeah, but the Republican Presidential field is so weak right now. I'd bet he could beat Obama and then still beating out a Bachman or Romney. Remember he ain't getting any younger.

  • @zaggers77 lol, point taken :P
