@MubinFMA yeah i'm looking closely. about half the time balls that hit lower notes cause it to emit a HIGHER pitch. i think what's really happening here is that the thing plays the next note in a series no matter what he hits. so: mostly fake.

Are you sure it's fake guys? It could be background music he is playing along with. There's no way the midi sound could be heard like that when the score was playing and also He made a few mistakes when he was nervous.
