i played this whole symphony on bass about a month ago in the Tacoma Junior Youth Symphony, it is by bar one of the hardest pieces to play on bass, but is amazingly fun and easy to express yourself in, and easy to move and dance to while your playing! One of my very favorite symphonies for sure, always will be.

wow. expressive oboes and clarinets and bassoons. Moving strings, stunning flutes and clear strong brass. Amazing conductor =] Very wonderful orchestra.
