wow. Carter and Sessions. Someone from his time understanding & feeling an affinity for this music. Paul Jacobs was always one of my heroes with Ursula Oppens! This is finer than Rubinstein who is usually so convincing in his performances. the energy here! Kempff has the right idea about tempos I think.

Massive! This is Brahms as conqueror....there is a spirit in here that makes me think of his wonderful Ballades, Op. 10. Has Webster recorded those as well?!
