  • @firefaiting says the faggot that listens to Rudolf the red-nosed reindeer?

  • how did i go from watching trucks and atvs off roading, to this? well it is still really cool haha

  • Pretty scenery!

  • Interesting video. Thumbs up! :)

  • I think the narrator is a cop, lol. Good video!

  • Cool. We dont get that much snow where I live. I wish we did so I can see railroad snow plows.

  • need one for the driveway

  • what id give to have this job.........

  • Super video. Thanks.

  • It went through 2 red signals!

  • @HelloHansSolo just guesing but if you have the red signals facing you he would have a green light facing him.

  • looks like the best part was cut off at the end.

  • wow, so cool. i wish i was sitting right on the front.

    peace, lardo.

  • shaky ride

  • cant they use the cowcatcher as a plow

  • Awesome video and powerful too! T.C. 5-7-2010

  • GREAT

  • Thats cool

  • Technically, that's not a snow plow but instead a Jordan Spreader that's also used with Ballast work.

  • @darkyoda it plows snow though, thus a snow plow.

  • Was hoping to be able to see the signals change.

    Why so little?

    Nice steady capture.

  • I never knew what a Jordan Spreader was untill I saw this video!

  • you cut it out to early

  • very cool. one of the only videos "recommended" for me by youtube that i've enjoyed.

  • I wonder if they can do my driveway.

  • well. you should probably stop wondering

  • Nothing train-wise displays power visually than a rail snow plow I think.

  • Good lord. Of all the crap I watch on youtube, this is the first well-narrated video with excellent camera work that I've seen in a long time.

  • that's what you call a snow plow.

  • in england we got about an inch of snow and roads were closed all passenger trains were closed coal and other power sources were an exception but england is really pafetic in terms of snow

  • I wonder if it would be scary, painful, or incredibly fun to be under the wake of the snow.

  • wow i'm from poland and i never see this

  • Sweet narration! Thanx fur sharin'!

  • see...in the UK we get one snowflake and the whole country shuts down..you guys know how to handle snow!!!

  • how much do you guys get over there anyways? average

  • probably about 6inches a year, the UK is terrible for snow

  • @rastarenegade lol one snowflake

  • @rastarenegade Parts of the US are like that. Seattle. The mere HINT of snow that doesn't fall in the mountains warrants a special theme song for the news and hours of breathless hype from the talking heads. People don't go to work; schools will close; traffic snarls (OK, the latter ALWAYS happens). And then there might be snow....

  • @rastarenegade That's the way it is here in Alabama everything closes. And if they even mention the "S" word in a news cast , people freak out and buy up all the bread and milk.

  • @copperblazer1 I thought that was just a Tennessee thing... Good to know we're not alone... LOL

  • @rastarenegade haha it's the same in the US South

  • @rastarenegade last year in minnesota (in the us) we got 25 inches of snow and they didnt close schools

  • @rastarenegade depends on where in the country you are lol

  • @rastarenegade Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww thats funny!

  • Ends too dam soon!

  • Must be a little scary for the engineer moving along at that speed with almost no evidence that there is any track ahead. Great video!

  • I saw that last week here along the tracks in pa. We ride our snowmobiles along the tracks here and a train came plowing about a foot of snow off the tracks and plastered me. got knocked off from all the snow lol

  • how much snow is there like 2 feet

  • Nice catch.Thanks for sharing.

  • how he see the track in that snow!!!!!!!!! aint he afraid it mite derail!

  • We had atleast 6inches all nite.

NS prob used to snow plow.

I'd love to see them us the plow.

  • man here we just got like a foot and a half of snow, but no, CP wont break out the Plow here...lol

  • When I used to live in Nicholson, every big snowfall I used to pack up my camera and walk to the tracks with the hope of seeing a plow...never did get to see one though!

  • that is a lot of snow

  • Sweetness!!

  • 'we gave chase' lol

  • the last time in Germany maybe 2004 ?

  • Dont see that very often here in Australia

  • yeah, that was cool

  • so kool!!!!

  • I live like 5 minutes away.

  • wouldnt like to be on the side of those tracks:)

  • I would! :D ahaha

  • uhh what does it mean?

  • I think he meant Besser

So what I think it means is better than a snow plow.

  • interesting

  • Sounds like Ed K. Hello Ed!!

  • Hello! And who might you be?

    Ed K.

  • @m3ohwell Where is this? I wanna go build a shackj down there and each time this happens run down 4 metres from the train and get covered :D

  • @Mitchumthegreat LoL. My bad XD

  • 18$ an HOUR????? dude are you kidding me?? thats just wrong

  • yea I know, when I have my 4 trucks out plowing I'm putting $250 a hour in my pocket.

  • and you don't even need a CDL.

  • I was the operator on the plow that day and it was a 30 hour day, from Binghamton, NY to Sunbury,PA.

  • wow.how much u get paid?

  • About $18.00 an hour. I'm the lowest paid guy on the crew!

  • I wanna be near railway and take a snowbath :)

  • Nice clip. Working for Conrail before the split, I got a few chances to run a plow extra. dangerous work. sometimes if the wind was right, with powdery snow, we couldn't see more than about 200ft in front of us.
