Jeter is a class guy; at one time I was chauvinistic enough to think that this attitude was part 'n' parcel of "The Yankee Mystique" but I've long since come to the conclusion that most major league players conduct themselves with this level of professionalism which is why they are truly such great role models.

Indeed, no affirmative action here; you have to prove yourself all the time and these guys do it everyday; this is what makes them and good sportsmanship so great.
