Micky Dolenz and his sister Coco, performed this song at the state fair where I live, five months ago on August 28th, 2008. When they were singing it, I called my home phone, and when the voice mail kicked it, I held up my cell phone up towards the stage, at the end of this song. I still have a brief, ten second clip of the ending of this song, on my home voice mail. Karrazy, huh?
I have lots of favorites; Fifth Dimension, Left Banke, Paul Revere and the Raiders, The Association, dozens and dozens of artists, hundreds and hundreds of songs, even instrumentals like Herb Albert and Tijuana Brass, Ray Coniffe and his Orchestra. Bobby Sherman, Mary Hopkins (Goodbye). Log that onto youtube and listen to her 1969 hit. Tommy James Shaundels, Cowsills, Neil Diamond, War, Gary Lewis , Gary Puckett and Union Gap. Etc. Etc...........
Neil Diamond wrote I'm a Believer, a Little Bit me, A Little Bit You and Look Out Here Comes Tomorrow for the Monkees.
Diamond was a prolific songwriter from the mid 60's to the early 70s and has written some fantastic songs. He is worth checking out in his own right. Arguably one of the finest singer-songwriters of the 20th Century
I would like to thank you for posting this video. It solves a question for me about the pyramid the guys made in the opening of the show. They showed it so fast I always wondered who was where. Now I know it was Mike and Peter on the bottom then Micky and of course Davy on top. Thanks again.
Great video! This is one of my favorit Monkee song's. I goofed, I wanted to rate it 5 stars, but I accidently hit 3 stars! Sorry! The video is 5 stars!!
Didn't realize how GREAT this band was till i got older, they were truly AWESOME!!!
