people are willing to justify torture as long as the tortured person is a terror suspect but what if he does not speak under torture but were to say he'd rather talk if a third person were to be tortured? At that prospect people who'd defend torture don't know what to say. Kant is right about moral absolutes and the prohibition of torture is one of them. I don't condone racism, so I will not buy products from companies that do. If we actually took action against companies by boycott we could put them out of business in days, instead you would rather consume some more than practice what you preach.
