Wow, this was better than I had expected and some battles were absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!

I really liked what Alex Meraz did here and how they wrote Dean Geyer's character (I just didn't really know most of the other guys). And yeah, felt more real than the first one, as far as the MMA goes...

It actually does relate to the 1st movie. Max Cooperman was in th first, and as he says in the trailer, "Now I'm in charge [obviously of the Beat Down]...". Adding the cages and stuff, it just became more MMA-Like. I do agree though, it looks VERY cheesy and will probably ruin the first one, AND it would've been much better to bring back Jake and Ryan. But hey, idk. I'll see it...

No Jake, no Ryan, no logical connection to the first part of the film... The 1-st part had it's specific charm and a bit of philosophy. This one is just the other fighting movie, and i see no sence to call it NBD-2. I liked the first part and for sure will see the second, but it's not the original Never Back Down, it's just the other movie.... pity.

ive watched this movie and its bad.. really bad practically makes no sence y that nerdy kid betrays them and the way he gets the big guy from fighting is soo dumb and unbelieveable... my advice stay away from it. watching this movie will only ruin never back down 1 for u, if u liked it that is.

The story follows Jack Tyler's new life, and it should continue that way. Okay, he accomplished what he wanted, but it's not hard to write a sequel of that, really simple actually. This seems to be just another fighting movie, it looks to be good too
