Her brother used to work at this restaurant at a hotel my mom works at,

& she came and played there one night.

She was amazing.

i'm a huge adele fan and lilly's take on this song is beautiful! american idol show just went sour for me when lilly and alex were voted off. gosh i'd love to hear an adele and lilly collaboration, that would be awesome!

She should definitely try again next year, even though I dont think a person can try again if they make it to the top 24. I could be wrong though. Hopefully she does try again if possible. Even though, what is American Idol anyway? It is so skewed with the voting. She will make it big....hopefully.

You know what sucks the most? Her and Alex Lambert were the only two that were favorite. All of the sudden they're both gone on the same day. What do people not see in them that's no enough? I loved Lily because she reminds me of a 60's-indie-singer and Alex reminded me of my all time favorite artist, James Morrison. Man.. Lifes a b-word.

@matchboxdrillion Yeah, I know what you mean. I think Katelyn was a huge loss too. She was by far the most under rated contestant this year. Between the 3 of them that was 3/4 of my top 4 gone in one night. I'm keeping up with Lilly on her official facebook fan page now. She's doesn't seem to be missing a beat. LIlly and Katelyn both have plenty of experience, and are ready to go now. Alex still needs a couple of years of experience to work the nerves out, but I hope we hear more from him too.

@Orangeman334 You're damn right. I just wish she would get a youtube channel and start putting up videos from her gigs and stuff. I've only been able to find a few of her her originals and they're awesome. I know she made a couple of EPs and I'd love to get my hands on them, but can't find them for download anywhere. Any smart record label should be all over this girl right now.

Yeah I wish there was some live footage of Varlet preforming. I only found three songs through myspace and an EP can be bought on Amazon for the new "low" price of $14.99 for 4 songs.

@Orangeman334 Yeah those must be second hand copies or something. She gave her cds away for years and is a strong supporter of free music. I would pay a fair price in a heartbeat, but you're right that's too much for 4 songs. Hopefully they'll hit iTunes soon.
