You have to first hit one of the falling rocks toward Lucifer, then he'll throw his sword at you. Next, hit the sword back at him. It's all about timing, positioning and space. Keep trying, you'll get him.

Exactly. Depending a bit on what platform you're playing on, covering the same distance will take:

30 seconds by running.

16 seconds by hopping.

sweet demo. very nice to have the actual background music and not the damn overlays that so many people mess up the recordings with.

fwiw i just used the painkiller weapon itself in the early stage to take out the ghosts, seemed even more efficient than any of the projectile weapons at all.

Because it's near impossible. I can get to it if I try for about a half hour, but since I decided to do my videos edit free whenever possible, I merely shot at it to point it out. Sorry.

Besides that secret with the armor and the secret I can't find in The Place, I showed every secret area in the game.

oh my fucking god i still can't kill this dude, i found this game guide on google and it's saying all this bullshit about a stone golem that punches him and shit and i tried shooting the rocks at him for over 30 minutes and i can't budge his health meter. It only lets you in the arena with him for like 20 seconds at a time, its complete bullfuckingshit

The stone golems are used to beat King Alastor in the Painkiller expansion, Battle Out of Hell. That boss isn't in this game.

The trick is to be close enough to him when he summons the rocks and get far away from him before they fall. This way the rocks will be between you and him. If you use the Double Haste card (like I did) the rocks fall slower, making them easier to hit.

The rocks will take half his health, then he'll throw the sword. Hitting the sword back will take the last half of his health. If you don't kill him in time, you have to kill another 66 ghosts to get another shot.

Don't know how much more I can explain it. When I first tried to beat him, I took forever getting it down as well. He IS the final boss, so they made it tough. The problem I always had was getting the rocks between me and him.

I cannot beat this guy, and it's really pissing me off because whenever i turn into a demon and shoot at him it doesnt take off any damage at all, in your video you shoot him a few times and he dies

You have to wait until he summons rocks. As they fall, hit one towards him. After a rock or two, he'll throw his sword at you. Attack the sword and send it back at him. That kills him.

It takes a while to get the hang of it.

Nope, not quite. If you saw the opening to the BooH expansion, you'll see that Daniel Garner (The main character) does not stay in Hell.
