1. World of Warcraft - I played it for 3 years, recently stopped. Its an amazing game and the content is huge, It is however extremely addictive AND time consuming.

2. Modern Warfare 2 - Mentioned in the video and many people have already said, but the campaign is absolutely amazing, and the Online is epic, the graphics are very lifelike-ish and the game itself has hardly any downsides.

3. Fallout 3 - Bethesda did an amazing job with this game, the gameplay is superb and you can get in to it.

Banjo Tooie-Once again one of the last great games on the N64 before it died out and arguably one of the best action adventure games ever.

SSBM: Reinforced the great subgenre it had created a few years earlier.

Guitar Hero: Brought popularity to the pretty much dead rhythm game genre.

God of War: The best graphical piece to ever grace the PS2 that has since spawned a prequel sequel and another in months coming.

Final Fantasy X- Brought the PS2 out and showed it's amazing capability until then nobody had seen that much in a game. Also known to have one of the best stories in a Final Fantasy game if not the best.

GTA San Andreas-Brought videogames back into the limelight with it's "Hot coffee" scandal that will always be remembered.

Halo-Brought a whole new fanbase into the FPS genre.

Zelda Twilight Princess-Made the gamecube go out in a blaze of glory while helping to give birth to the Wii.

The 5 games that I feel best represent the 2000-2009 decade of gaming are Halo, Grand Theft Auto 3, World of Warcraft, Shadow of the Colossus, and Guitar Hero.

Halo for its enormous impact on console shooters and online multiplayer; WoW for its MMO impact and addictive qualities that border on enslavement; GTA3 for its revolution in sandbox gaming as well as the renewed attention and controversy it brought to the industry; Shadow of the Colossus for its poster-child status in the "games are art" school of thought; Guitar Hero for its seamless integration of the popularity of music and gaming into a social experience that revitalized the rhythm genre.
