  • oh, and the penguin framing batman into a criminal.

yes, it's like they took this two parter, rewroted it a little and let tim burton direct it. kinda like the first Star Trek movie was very much like one of the series' episodes about a probe returning to earth.

  • huh, there are aspects of this episode that were in Batman Returns: the Batmobile having a gimick that let it do a 180 turn. the Penguin making himself into a respectable citizen. the batmobile being taken over by the penguin. and the batmobile being remote controlled (although by bats rather than penguin)

  • they steal the what?? LOL.

  • for crime fighters they know how to make good fun

  • They followed the BatMobile in the BatCycle, but drove back to the city, with three extra passengers, in the Batmobile. Where'd they leave the BatCycle then?

Also: ''The Penguin? Married and kept in the bathtub?'' Bathtub? What the hell?

  • Good seeing Erich von Zipper from the Frankie Avalon/Annette Funicello as a Penguin stooge.

  • We're gaining Batman...Bat-Scanner says "7-4-9-0"!!! Love it!

  • And now for some amusing fun with the doors!

  • LOL, now that's fear of commitment.

  • @chibicelchan Not like a sentence in the Gotham State Pen is a big deal...he'll break out in a week! :-)

  • @tyranusfan LOL, or else get released on "good behavior". :D

  • Tiny wheel

  • gotta love Burgess Meredith!

  • Robin: "ejecter seat? you're joking!"

Batman: "I never joke about my work Robin."

  • @SUPERMEDIABROTHERS6 That interesting car of yours.

  • thundering feathers

  • That little steering wheel just about killed me.

  • @AyaKunRose me too

  • Say this is one super villian who actually seems to care about his underlings, notice he doesn't show the same disdain when they get ejected from the batmobile, put the Joker or Riddler or Cat Woman in the same position, they'd have had a whale of a time laughing about it.

He doesn't care enough to turn around and pick them back up, but at least he doesn't just say "Oh well, more loot for me" :D

  • @TheEverTwistedOne This is true. Out of all the bad guys, I'd like to work for the Penguin the most.

  • I wonder if it is possible for the Penguin to be sentenced to marry Sophia Star. Because if it is, that would sure punish the Penguin and it would really be something.

  • I hear this was the only appearance of the Batcycle Mk 1.

  • The Penguin must have been as bad a gunslinger as Ma Parker. How could he miss shooting Batman when the latter was climbing on the Batmobile?

Also, I think there should have been another two-parter with Penguin and Sophia Starr. Excellent acting chemistry.

  • LOL Love the ending.

  • Sounds like the Penguin said "Damn it!" at 2:17!

  • Hey, I'd marry him. ;) Haha, the way he quickly waddles out.

  • wow! that ending is awesome! the Penquin would rather go to jail then marry a beautiful red head. HA! I love this show!

  • He could have married her and then divorced her and took half of her fortune. Not much Batman could do about that.

  • I may be wrong but I think this is the only ep where the last scene doesn't have Batman or Robin in it.

  • The third season had one for sure, the second-last ep with the Minerva teaser.

  • A Bachelor's Life Is A Life For Me

    TIT-WILLOW, TIT-WILLOW, TIT-WILLOW!

  • @darrellkaiser1985 Awesome Song!

  • What is with Robin and yelling inside voices

  • LOL! Penguin would rather face prison than be turned into an honest citizen!

  • maybe he's just afraid of commitment. still funny though, LOL
