Sony Vegas series of time line editing software are the only way to go. Vegas Pro ten a cut down version of Vegas 9 is a very successful professional time line editor with ever feature you can ever want. I have used these products in a professional environment for 12 years and they are world leaders. Linux haven't got anything that comes near Vegas.
I'm trying to save a video in PiTiVi but the "Render Project" feature is greyed out. I'm using 0.13.4. why is this so? what kind of video program allows you to edit the video but then not saved the finished project? this is bullshit

Pitivi will onlt accept AVI files, If you find it hard to use use openshot video editor, again AVI files only. what os are you using.
