If you want to see a true 80s style mall... you should check out San Jacinto Mall in Baytown, TX. In the 70s it was the largest mall in the state of Texas. It is over 1 mil sq ft. It has run into a lot of management issues so the mall hasn't changed since the early 80s. The floors are all thin hard wood and the stores all have carpet. There are fountains everywhere and the walls are wood paneling. I know you like 80s malls and this is without a doubt the truest 80s mall in the country.
