I don't use this type of incendiary device much. As a matter of fact- this was only the 3rd time I've ever used this kind of 12 gauge ammunition. I wanted to somehow record the event of having my friend Bill shoot it out of my granddad's old shotgun and try to record it both with video and still photography. There are lots of these videos posted and I imagine some folks use D'sB cartridges quite often, but they cost around $10-$15 per round, so I don't get them very often.

It's an incendiary round, what do you think it's good for? Burning things. It's meant as a wide-angle, close-range anti-personnel load. It will cause severe burns to any exposed flesh, likely blind its target, and set fire to any clothing or other flammable materials.

looks like it would be really good at scaring wild animals for farmers, instead of y'know killing them, why do i hear about farmers killing predators, that's bad and probably doesn't help gun ownership i read lots about other countries have dogs protect livestock just as well, probably better. also the pic it shows looks like a redneck snuck aboard an alienship and stole a laser. i'd like to see a blunderbus do this.

oh and i am not against private gun ownership, just sometimes we do look bad for what some(vast minority of gun owners) make us look bad. Finland has a higher rate of gun ownership than the U.S. also Norway is quite high, i always like confounding antigun nuts by bringing those up(" but but europe blah wahhh...").

@iwasoncemusic Well, if you fire some 100 of them in a row, then yes. These shells are basically little more than flares going off inside the barrel.

Dragon's Breath is not advised for use in repeating shotguns, especially semi-auto or automatic ones, as it takes about a second for them to burn out completely before the shell can be extracted safely. There are other videos where this is seen, a guy using a repeating shotgun loads it one shell at a time.

That's probably more because Dragon's Breath shells, like many special loads, don't typically generate enough force to operate a semi-automatic mechanism. I'm sure letting it burn out is a concern, but barrels are made tough. If he's using a gun without a pump or lever action, it's likely more a result of the gun not being CAPABLE of firing multiple shots in a row than any concern about warping. This is why the SPAS-12 has both a semi-auto and a pump setting, for example.

thank god, i just spent like thirty minutes trying to see a good video of dragons breath. each video took at least five minutes to shoot it only once. that was short and sweet! good job bro!!! oh, and A+ music as well.
