It is actually horribly gruesome how spiders kill their prey. I heard they don't actually really eat the body of their pray the first inject if with acidic toxins which melt the intrails of the body from the inside out and than they suck out their insides. Sorry if any of that was too graphic to mention, feel free to look it up though. I am sure if more people were aware of that they would be twice as afraid of spiders.

that is a Golden Silk Orbweaver of the genus Nephila clavipes also commonly know as banana spiders or bird spiders for there extremely large size and color.

and don't screw with em like I did as a kid, those bastards hurt when they bite oh and although rare, they can still get much bigger than that, I've seen one get as big as a dollar bill (leg span included)
