This stuff is amazing. I don't know anything about film/camera but I like the effect of motion...it still seems organic but very visually engaging...nice work.
No, just a Canon Ixus 430 that I modified so I could hold the shutter button down permanantly. Check out my latest one I did with this camera uploaded 2 days ago.
I really hope that i don't annoy you with this question, but the song title that you posted at teh beginning of this video is definately not what's currently playing. Did you use Audioswap, or something? (I MUST KNOW WHAT THIS SONG IS!)
I saw a video using this technique of stop motion. It is something I want to experiment myself on my next project. I am trying to locate the video where I saw it. It is awesome. He did it while walking. He stop to take a pciture every few times and then put it together.
hey this is an awesome video mate.....i have a kodak 7.1mp digital camera and i want to do exactly the same shots but it will be on a tripod and of cars going past the camera.....what tips could you give for best results?
Great job! My camera can not take photos more often than every 6 seconds giving a jerky result on my video. How did you modify your camera? I took mine to bits and hard wired the shutter to a timer
i had a pentax optio S4 that in video mode you could adjust it to shoot every 5 seconds 10 20 50 and 100 seconds. awesome camera. the lcd screen cracked on it but the camera still works ...debating whether to get it fixed just for this feature because i loved using it.
The quality has suffered on youtube but you get the feel of what I am trying to show. I have a 1024x768 pixel high resolution version which is much better.
how did you use your canon ixus?

mike50333 2 years ago
Yes I had to use Audioswap as the musc was flagged after 2 years.
I have added the title over the top of the original for you.
comedyhunter 2 years ago
The music sounds like something out of an early Sonic the Hedgehog game (big plus for me).
This movie is great - certainly unique. :)

Hi, by the way this is not stop motion, it is strictly time-lapse video. The video you are probably thinking of is called "HD Timelapse in walking".

how do u do long exposure while doing the time lapse?
Sparky937 2 years ago
This is a point and shoot camera so in full auto mode it WILL do long exposure shots, simple as that.

great stuff!! big up... i like this timelapse.
the photo-effects version seems to have gained contrast/sharpness, but lost quite some warmth in the colors.
moorooduc 3 years ago
so this means you had to drive around for 50 minutes doing this yes?
how did u mod the camera to take continuous photos
m86ichael 4 years ago
Looking at EXIF in the jpgs it was 38 mins of footage.
I modded the camera by replacing the focus/shutter switch with my own toggle switch instead.

You certainly succeeded as usual. I don't know where you get so much patience!
I keep looking for the spider bridge on your vids, one day perhaps? Or maybe it was knocked down years ago.
