A #1 hit for Joey Dee and The Starliters in January 1962. Ironically, it knocked the original "Twist" (Chubby Checker) out of the #1 spot. It was also the first new #1 hit of the new year of 1962. What would the year bring in 1962 as far as the music scene went? We will see.
