i didn't care much for the ringy clang of your settings, so I took the reverb to 0 and did a trick Chuck himself does. Adjust the volume knob of the amp to 10- then the guitar knob to all but silent, adjust the tone knob on the guitar to your liking. Great sound that way.

ps- what strings are those? I use what chuck has- 11 gauge round wound pure nickel.

I think the key to all of this is practicing these riffs over and over.... very very VERY slowly. Only to build up to normal speed over time. Weeks or even months might be necessary to really get competent at playing these parts.
