to me i think wi-fi is pointless, because verizon has the best 3G network in my opinion, its reliable and real fast n no issues, and if ur paying the 30$ extra for it anyway then you should use it n get ur moneys worth lol, so i wouldnt buy the tour 2 jus for wi-fi or a trackpad, the ball is fine u jus gotta take care of it like anything in life if u want it to last long

You would either have to get it repaired or get a new phone, there is no other way to move throughout the interface. That's why the blackberry with the trackpad, I believe the onyx, is better than this phone.

@medaman117 verizon will be coming out with the Tour2 shortly, which is pretty much the same as the original tour, but with a few redesigns, an optical trackpad instead of the trackball, as well as WiFi, which the original tour does not have. I have had the Tour for the past 6 months, and have been nothing but pleased with it. It is my first blackberry and I don't think i can ever go back to a non-BB phone.

RIM started shipping new Tours.

The new ones have better trackballs and non-loose back doors.

I wish my Sprint had a Verizon backdoor though, because the sides are rubberized.

I agree, i had the bold (until i dropped it and broke it) and i'd def. recommend it. This phone is almost exactly like the bold. But i much rather prefer the bold.

bold is att, and this is verizon 2 diff carriers guy, but tour is the best bb for verizon/sprint, and bold is best on att, and curve 8900 for tmobile
